Absolutely agree, that is one of the reasons I preffer Fallout 2 over 1, it nails this kind of humour masterfully, and this is something that is not that easily done, Fo2 writing reminds me a lot of South Park and Boondocks, by being able to talk about some very dark topics with a more light tone.

This doesn't apply to TV shows only, I think the entire media nowadays is even more open to darker themes or even some outright controversial topics, maybe not in the mainstream media, but we are in 2022 and access to "non mainstream content" is easier than ever.

After the shitshow that was the Halo tv series I'm starting to get hyped to see how bad this one will be, of fucking course it will automatically be 100x worse than that stupid Halo one because Fallout story doesn't fit in any other form of media.

I never played with them, but in my time fighting against them I never actually saw any ranged unit perform that well, they seem pretty average on that area if not a bit bad. But I don't really know, you need to consider that the empire has one of the best ranged roster in the entire game.

I actually never used siege towers, take a bit too long to build and using ladders isn't that bad. Still the best way to win a siege is with magic or artillery (or Karl Franz with that fucking deathwing).

That's another thing that I learned, it is extremely important to wipe out stacks of troops, else the damage you done to them wont matter that much, as they are quickly replenished if they manage to escape.
