G4 Best Franchise Fan Vote Competition

I actually made the mistake of signing up for this thing, assuming it would be a legitimate vote. It's not. EPIC is offering some kind of bonus to everyone who votes for their game, there are hundreds of spam messages and those that can structure a logical sentence on that website are in the...

    Fallout: New Vegas concept art

@BN, thanks for the clarification. Several sites are reporting that as the confirmed date of release. I also found it dubious. Perhaps the delay is the result of Bethesda trying to emulate the success of the Mass Effect 2 dlcs by spacing the releases out over the course of a year or more in...

    Fallout: New Vegas concept art

Regarding the potential teaser for the new NV dlc: Do we have confirmation that April 19th is the release date for Honest Hearts, or just the trademark/copyright filings? I'm getting conflicting reports when I search for information.

Dead Money on PC and PS3, three more DLCs coming

I think it's all but been confirmed to be Ulysses. Check out this article at the vault: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Ulysses

    The Official Fallout JRPG Demake

Bump. Wait, can you bump things here? Probably not. Let me clarify: This is what I, also, believe to be the truth.

IGN thinks Dead Money is unforgivably buggy

This is what I thought when I read the article too. [spoiler:9704461217] I've played through it twice now with two different characters and have never had a problem with the "Dog"/"God" switch over. The person who wrote this article clearly didn't understand the voice command...

Homosexuality and other unimportant Fallout-related stuff

Re: Homosexuality and other unimportant Fallout-related stuf I don't need to, the societies of the world already have. That's why people who wear ridiculous costumes and make up with dye in their hair aren't elected to public office.

Homosexuality and other unimportant Fallout-related stuff

Re: Homosexuality and other unimportant Fallout-related stuf I one-hundred percent agree with everything you just said, but I think you missed my point: If someone wants to dress like an idiot, so be it = yes. Someone dresses like an idiot, is also gay and its homophobia = no. My point...

Homosexuality and other unimportant Fallout-related stuff

Re: Homosexuality and other unimportant Fallout-related stuf I think this statement is patently ridiculous. If I see anyone dressed up like a peacock with bright blue hair and a rainbow t-shirt, I'm going to respect them less. The fact that it's usually homosexual males who define themselves...

Dead Money out, screenshots on Marketplace

I think it depends on how much you WANT it. I knew F3 was going to suck but I still ponied up the dough for a 360 and the collector's edition because I just wanted more Fallout and I knew Bethesda was launching with the 360 as the primary system. For someone like me, nostalgia outranks patience.

New Dead Money screenshots in Bethesda latest newsletter

Yeah I know, my collector's edition was missing the Ace of Spades. I sent Bethesda an email and they never got back to me so I gave up. Just making a bitter, bitter joke. Also, regarding the commie ghosts: they kind of remind me of the girls from Lao Che's bar at the beginning of...

Oh, so that's why my collector's edition didn't have an ace of spades in it.

    Dead Money trailer out

I had felt the same way for the last few years regarding the current state of gaming, but it's actually better this way. When you think about it, the gaming market has become very cut-throat and focused predominantly on making games that are easy to understand, play and be rewarded by. This is...

Fallout: New Vegas patch 1.2 out on Steam

Just watched my girlfriend trying to complete Bye, Bye Love with her PC version. Every time she finishes the dialogue, Joanna and her boyfriend run back toward the gate (in their disguises) and try to fight the Securitrons that my girlfriend is (technically) in control of. It's madness.

Fallout: New Vegas patch coming out very soon

Yeah, it is harrowingly depressing. I was really more impressed that IGN published an article that wasn't written by a four year old. And a Fallout one at that. There are some good points though. I think his discussion of balancing the urgency of the main quest with the immediacy of the side...

New Vegas is way too complex

IGN reviews New Vegas for the third time. Why am I highlighting this specifically? Because:<blockquote>The gameplay system is a disjunctive network of overlapping lists, stats, statuses, items, quest information, character notes, curiosities, and upgrades. It's nearly inscrutable in the...
