It doesn't seem a fresh install did anything, it's still the same, It's most likely this area is just missing exit grid.

I will do a quick uninstall/fresh install see if that helps. The area does feel pretty cramped and unnatural to how it may suppose to be. You might be onto something.

I'm on the steam version as well, and I noticed the same thing as well collecting bottles for a task, the area you speak of I to was able to go around but luckily only collected the bottle that happened to be there.

I've been searching the forums/search engines and haven't been able to find anything related to this issue. Worst case scenario is I just restart and avoid these Mountain/Caves all together.
