I tried playing it with bunch of mod like FOOK, MMM, FWE and a whole bunch of others and still found the game boring since there is not a single mod that fixes dialogs and the story.

I actually liked and finished the game even with all its flaws but when I tried to play it again I finally realized how bad it really is. I just dont have the willpower to replay all those boring dungeon crawls, and origins and pretty much pointless outside certain points of main quest.

My favorite soldier was that good sorceress which you could capture and turn into a ally, on lvl 10 she was unstoppable.

If you want simply good sf film try Jin-Roh, Akira, Steamboy, Metropolis and Tekkon Kinkreet (not much sf but still a great film).
