rofl, I DID read the stickies, and I DID tried everything there that could have been applied in my case. I even restarted my PC 2 times , thinking maybe it will work, as I have played before this game( about 1 year and a half ago), with all the patches on the same PC and it worked.

dont you get it? i have the UK version ( which means I cant use US patches as far as I know)and i have used the Humongous install and still CANT PLAY the game. I checked the thread ffs.

Mine is " master_dat=F:\Tiger\Games\Fallout2\master.dat" so it seems alright. Yet i have the same problem, after installing the patch. I have the CD inside yet the damn game still asks for it ffs.
