Fallout 2 Restoration Project 1.2 (Unofficial FO2 Expansion)

I m now replaying the FO2 game with your patch, only thing I would do different now is play very very evil. But now I m wondering if I should even do this, I did play one of the earlier versions of restoration project of Killap but I wouldn't wan't to miss out on the new stuff in this version...

As far as I'm concerned,Fallout 3 never happened. *spoilers*

the original post: entertaining, sadly it is true. Btw, I see you forgot to mention Oasis. I fear you ll have an unpleasant surprise waiting there. But it might be entertaining for us if you gave your review on that (it s got something to do with a tree)

    A question on the Commonwealth

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commonwealth_of_Nations Isn't it just Canada, since Canada is part of the "British" commonwealth?

    Request: Fallout 1 & 2 restoration into FO3

thx, very interesting. So they will change dialogue too then?

    Request: Fallout 1 & 2 restoration into FO3

I don't know if it s possible to make 1 mod that does this (or if there is already someone making this): * FO2 Special System * Traits & Perk system from FO2 & FO1 (with all perks available from all 3 games) * Karma adjustments to make it like it was in the FO2 system: stealing no...

    A question on the Commonwealth

Btw, where can you find the commonwealth? They say they live somewhere up North, but I can't really find it in the FO3 world. Re they living in Canada?

    A genuine, worthy sequel

I really think Bethesda provoked it somehow, they deserve some bashing to say the least. Putting the combat aspect before the RPG aspect really really provokes a lot of people. I m not referring to the thing that combat is better, I m referring to the thing that the dialogue lines suck and...

    A genuine, worthy sequel

To buy a genuinly good car in the US, buy a Japanese car. To buy a genuinly good RPG in the US, buy a Japanese RPG? this is something I found on a topic on the Bethesda Fallout 3 forum: http://www.1up.com/do/previewPage?pager.offset=1&cId=3171361&p=4 Beth forum...

    A genuine, worthy sequel

I wonder if the reviewers themselves actually completed the game and if not, if they then only saw the beginning in the Vault and Megathon (not seeing the big picture of the game). It seems very reasonable that they d give the game high scores based upon only the Vault and Megathon. It s only...

A Question For the NMA Community

Guided tour? I thought it would be this like in the previous games in the Fallout serie, take the main quest "tour" and do the side quests along the way (in the cities/villages that you re sure to run into because of the main quest route). So I tried to take Beths tour, ended the game too soon...

    A genuine, worthy sequel

I thought that an RPG is all about options, having choices and also the ablitily to play different roles in the game (good guy, grey guy and bad guy). When comparing FO1 & FO2 with FO3. The thing that I noticed was that many many options were gone from the previous games (groin shots, eye...

    Pic of the day

Maybe that s what all the powerglue is about? And another thing that I m now wondering about: And how does the one who boarded up the doors from the outside get in the house? He must have been really intelligent. There must be some very good explanation of how exactly you get in the house...

    A genuine, worthy sequel

Sjeez, I can't believe it: Fallout 3, a genuine worthy sequel? You did play Fallout 3 Bethesda made, right? And you did play FO1 and FO2 made by Interplay? The Game that had about 1 decent town (Megathon)? (Oh yeah and if you blew it up like I did, 0 decent towns. And No, River City is not...

So, anyone struggle through as a non-combat character?

Just to be curious, I ve played FO1 & FO2 now a couple of times but I never tried to play the diplomat: can you play purely diplomat? I always thought you just had too many missions were you couldn't avoid combat.

    Gripes about the writing

Man and I was worried that their would be no dumb dialogue, appearantly it s all dumb dialogue (I ve played the game too, not just red these posts). Bethesda lied, when they said they wouldn't put dumb dialogue in the game. They forgot to put intelligent dialogue in though.

    Will Fallout 3 be remembered?

I voted: "Rather not, it's a mediocre game that's fun, but forgettable." I just hope FO3 wont be the final headbut to the Fallout games we know as FO1 & FO2. I wouldn't like it very much that the fallout legacy would end the same way the "footballer Zidane" ended his career...

    What the hell? Communist... (spoilers)

I thought the Chinese were beaten in Alaska: So how did they get all the way to the east coast?

So, uh, did anyone like it?

It s an enjoyable and genuinely fun game, though not a genuine sequel: it lacks to much for that.
