I've tried to replay it after my whole "corrupted savegame incident" (especially to check out the DLCs), but the dialog and overall linearity have kept me also from getting further than Megaton. Like Vault 101 (and most other locations, I think), that place is just horrible on your second go. :|

Reminds me of a game I always played on my old Windows 95, called Dangerous Dave. This game has better graphics, though.

Obviously, the gore bags the Super Mutants drag in and shopping cart jails on the Behemoths' backs are radiation resistant. I think the Super Mutants used the "Divine Spell of the YsoGlow" which can be retrieved for a nominal sum of caps over at Moira's. Bethesda never really explained that...

As far as I'm aware it's not a Frisian word either. Oer does mean over in our language, but I've never heard of Oerjeke.
