To be honest, I liked the RPG element in Fallout 3 better than in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (not that it's good, ofcourse). I've played the latter game for just a few hours, but I quickly became bored of the dialogs. The combat however was much better than in Fallout 3 (32 headshots for one Talon )...
I voted Propably, yes. Look at the sales numbers, although I wish the answer was Fuck no, crappy games deserve to be forgotten.
Ah well, I hope that New Vegas becomes a worthy 3rd part.
There is already a third part? Get out of here! :falloutonline:
Thanks for the info, guys. :)
Now I remember where I heard that part. It's good they didn't do that in the game, because that would've been too unrealistic (in my opinion) and had given Interplay too much creative freedom. A seperation of Florida, however...
That would've made a nice...
Ron Perlman said in the Fallout 2 intro: ''As spears of nuclear fire rained from the skies, whole continents were swallowed in flames and fell beneath the boiling oceans...''. Somewhere else I heard that whole fault lines shifted under the pressure of the nuclear storm, causing huge mountain...
Currently reading The Foresight War by Anthony Williams. It's about two men that live in 2004, but are send back to WW2 where they get the chance to change the outcome of the war in Hitler's or Churchill's favor. Lots of descriptions of vehicles, weapons and technologies, mixed with modern stuff...

Just two of their (in my opinion) best songs. I listen all their songs on my MP3-player when I drive to school. ;)
I played SimCity 4 a lot as well, esspecially when the Rush Hour expansion was released. But it got very repetitive to me after a while, when all cities and neighborhoods started to look alike. :P

2. Hearts of Iron 2: Doomsday - Armageddon
3. GTA: Vice City & San Andeas
4. Resident Evil 2 & 3
5. Total War series

I'm currently playing Hearts of Iron 2: Doomsday - Armageddon and a bit of IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946.
Also fooling around with the Fallout Mapper (trying to create a little desert settlement around a gas station). ;)
I've been lurking on this site since '03/'04, but didn't register until a few weeks ago when I first played Falout 3. :|
Anyway, my name is Noël (aka NFSreloaded) and I live in the Dutch province of Friesland. I've been hooked on the Fallout series since 2003 when I got the Fallout Collection...
My mom decided to buy a random game for my birthday back in 2003, which happened to be the Fallout Collection (1, 2, Tactics).
Fallout instantly became my favorite videogame series. :D
