I hope the remaining masses of employees can all find new jobs. If I were them i wouldn't expect to be seeing any money from Interplay for a while, if ever.

Yup. just about to say that :) If it wasn't Interplay Entertainment before, maybe they are becoming company which deals in more than games, hence the Entertainment bit.

Well.. that's an interesting thing. does this now mean they will be forced to sell the licences or is there going to be some sneaky dealings going on allowing them to continue (not sure what exactly but i'm sure there is an industry procedure for this kind of thing)

That's what i was saying a while ago, it seems a lot of the latest Fallout community news is coming from that general area. If it's very popular it's hardly a bad thing though :)

I would expect it to be a similar thing to Fallout tactics. it's called fallout, looks like fallout etc, but just isn't fallout. While i enjoyed playing Fallout tactics it wasn't quite the same experience as the first two, which is most likely going to happen again.

I'm not saying to give FBOS a good review is a bad thing, I just wish those reviews which gave it a positive mark would be a little more valid and not seem as more of a 'Let's be nice and give it a good review' kind of thing.

Well that has made my day. (it's been a dull one :)) News on Fallout 3 is always good to hear from, especialy when it hints towards the chance of it seeing the light of day.

I know what you mean. I suppose we have some reason to be annoyed at its existance because it came out instead of the game we (the fans) wanted. I don't think we would be as upset if was actualy a good game.

A nice review by someone who seems to know what they are talking about, unlike some reviewers which got confused about the series and started saying things like Black isle developed FBOS etc.. Sums it up best.

I would definitely call those animations smooth. The way they start and end doesn't really bother me as that's how most demo animations are done anyway. Good job :lalala:

Haven't heard of this mod before but it looks like another thing to add to my list of stuff to look forward to this year :D Is it just me or are the majority of Fallout mods Polish? I don't have a problem with it, it's just something i noticed..

That's pretty much what they did. I'm looking forward to that part of it. It makes a change to going to a town and seeing everyone in the exact same spot you seen them 2 days ago. :)

Well done to them if they do succeed, I doubt they would go through with it if they diddn't have a good idea of what they were doing. Space travel is always going to be dangerous, no matter how much money you put into it.

Has anyone on NMA bought this game? I know a couple have rented it (and promptly brought it back). I cant imagine the sales being anything worth mentioning if even the fans wont get it. I remember when i first heard of the development of a console Fallout. 'Great' i thought. a new fallout...

Daaamn.. had me going for a second then. then I thought it was just like that DAC prank where some one pretended it had gone.. then I remembered the date.. Today I unplugged my brothers graphics card and stuck an "out of order" sign on the monitor. :D
