New Vegas Nexus launched & New Vegas opinions

I finished in less than 13 hours, uninstalled it and never played it again. That's the best indicator of the true quality of a game. Good games (assuming they're not completely linear) get replayed - PS:T x 3, Deus Ex x 4, VTMB x 3.

    Fallout: New Vegas first review

The question is: Why hasn't Zeni-Beth made a move to have it pulled? They get YouTube videos (and others) pulled quickly enough.

    Fallout: New Vegas first review

Even if he did play it, his opinion means nothing to me, as is the case with all people of limited consciousness.

Fallout: New Vegas full voice cast

Gamebryo has its problems, though, aside from Beth's pathetic AI/coding. I assume that's why Larian decided to remake Divinity 2 with an "improved" engine.

G4TV Fallout: New Vegas quest walkthrough

While it's true that Beth has published some games that ended up with poor reviews, like Rogue Warrior, FO is their IP, so there's more at stake in this case. So long as NV allows players to run around and do most of the action-oriented stuff they could do in FO3 - shooting/exploding/gibbing...

G4TV Fallout: New Vegas quest walkthrough

Since it'll be Beth's name on the front of the box, an 80%+ score is guaranteed from nearly all reviewers.

10 minutes of Fallout: New Vegas

The number 11 is very significant and symbolic to certain groups. Take a look around and you'll find it in many places. Two pillars and a temple...

Fallout New Vegas Developer Diary #3 - Art Direction

I'll wait until I see some feedback once it comes out... this thing just isn't doing anything for me from what I've seen so far. TV and games rot your brain, so selectivity is paramount. Reptilian eye holograms. You go Tares/Kenites.

    Contest, previews and screenshots

Not making a comment on the quality of the game itself, but amid all the other disparate/anomalous things that are in NV, the authenticity of the guns seems like a pretty trivial issue to me.

Fallout: New Vegas Developer Diary #1 - The Story

Of course, all he would have to do is change his clothes and you'd be SOL. At least someone can't change their age (not normally).

    Previews and Ausir interview

The real problem is that most people don't complain or question enough. The world would be a better place if we were less accepting of crap.

    Caravan rules revealed

As other have pointed out, optional mini-games are fine. When they become part of the core gameplay, it usually sucks, especially after you've been forced to do the same stupid routine many times over (Bioshock, Mass Effect). Agent Provocateur, I mean Alpha Protocol, did a better job with...

    Fallout: New Vegas interviews

From what I've seen so far, I'm having a hard time distinguishing the "goofiness" of holy hand grenades and mini-nukes from Caesar's Legion, unicycle robots and orbital lasers.

    Pete Hines interview

If the game ends up getting trashed by the critics, you know exactly where they're going to lay the blame.

    Fallout: New Vegas previews

What would be the acceptable threshold age for killing virtual children? Under 15, no good, 16 and over, ok? Where has the line been drawn?

All Roads graphic novel 12-page preview now available

Exactly. Fallout 1 had practically none of this so-called 50's "ambiance". Fallout 2 did have New Reno, but that was more of a throwback to the 20's-30's. Even so, most of that was just the stupid bouncers in suits with Thompsons.

A classic used throughout the ages. "Freedom isn't free" being another good one.

The Vault previews Fallout: New Vegas, #2

I think Beth's policy is no "No Mutants Allowed" allowed.

Why there are no ladders in Bethesda/Gamebryo games

It's not a limitation of Gamebryo. As Todd said, it's a limitation of Bethesda's shitty AI coding skills. Reptilian pussies, an interesting concept.

    Fallout: New Vegas opening narration

That's the way things work these days. No matter how egregious, the snakes get to do whatever they please and the little humies get stomped into a mudhole at the slightest provocation.
