    The Fall voice recordings

Yep. According to this, George Clooney and John Wayne both have distinct English and German voices. While they're both talented actors, I still find this a bit hard to believe. :p

    The Fall voice recordings

As John Wayne died in 1979, I believe the former, although it sounds a bit cheesy. Might it be the guys who dub George Clooney's and John Wayne's movies in Germany?

    Fallout 3 engine shots?

I guess I'll still have to wait for some time to see those scans...

    Leonard interview@DAC

I'd almost forgotten about that one... Interplay is actually going to pull it off still? By the way, I'd love to see Troika roshambo Bethesda for the license. 8)

    No co-op in Stalker

My point was this: They (the developers) were, as I could understand from reading the article, planning or at least considering implenting MP in the game. If not planned at all, at any part of the process, I couldn't understand why the PR manager would make such a statement. As far as the...

    No co-op in Stalker

This might actually be a good thing if it means that they'll use the time originally intended for MP to improve and add stuff to the single-player campaign. At least, I'm not that big a fan of online gaming. I prefer having a good single-player experience.

Feargus talks NWN 2, and comments on FO3

"the worst fans there are." <- I still can't determine whether it's a compliment or not. As I've said earlier; we're passionate, but that's really a good thing (right?).

    Update on Fallout Yurop

Ah, very good news indeed! I really hope that this mod will see the light of day (preferrably sometime soon), as a Fallout set in Europe has been something I've wanted to see ever since I started playing FO1.

    More ICNTATN from Hines

I'd say that the best thing they could do at Bethesda would be shutting up till they actually got something to say. Hell, they haven't even got a developer team for the game yet (not to mention the complete lack of vision for how the game should be) and still they're talking this and that about...

    Retrolook at Fallout

I've had very few problems playing FO2 on my P4 2.4, WinXP either. However, it would crash from time to time during loading and saving games. I was also not familiar with the quicksave option. Being the type of person who makes a save about every 2 minutes, these errors occured very rarely...

Saint Proverbius talks on the situation

Chromosome 25: I agree with you on not jumping to conclusions too rapidly, but still, we are entitled to having our opinions on how we believe FO3 should be. And, btw, Fallout is more like a phenomenon (Tycho of Penny Arcade explains it quite well). edit: And some people around here should...

Bethesda has the best fan interaction *ever*

Ché: Point well taken. As "saying" might have been the wrong term, they are certainly implying that there will be changes, and that there might very well be changes in Fallout's very basic structure. My point however, was that such statements and interviews do cause reactions here at NMA...

    Gaming Source talks to Pete.

I believe someone mentioned this earlier (calling gamesource "cybersquatters":)). Nothing new, really. However, I does seem like they more or less randomly chose buying Fallout instead of some other RPG-license (as he more or less directly tells us that "personal love for the series" was not...

Bethesda has the best fan interaction *ever*

Anyone who has visited this site more than once knew that such reactions were to be expected when announcing a FO3 that's radically different from it's two predecessors. Basically, they're saying that many of the characteristics that made the FO1&2 unique are to disappear. So, the Bethesda...

Fallout 3 and a couple of mirrors

Are there any chance of linking to the NMA fallout bible reservoir from the mirrored BIS/IPLY sites (as the links there lead nowhere)? I would believe that more people would check out those sites rather than the "Download"-sites at NMA (at least now with all of the newcomers registering at the...

Introduce yourself! AKA the "Say hello" thread

Hi everyone! I'm Eric and I've been an avid reader of NMA and these forums for a couple of years by now. NMA is actually one of the few sites I visit daily. This I do in order to stay updated on stuff related to Fallout (and particularly the long awaited successor to FO1&2) and it's...

Serious help needed! - Lost my F2 CD!

Actually, my FO2 (UK version) played well without the cd when using the humongous install and the 1.02 patch.

    Todd Howard Q&A on Gamespot

Why are we discussing what they mean by "vocal minority"? It's just so extremely irrelevant in this context. There are so many other and more important things that are to be discussed on FO3 development. As I've said earlier; we (the fans) have been screwed around more than enough already (by...

    Todd Howard Q&A on Gamespot

And GTA's action-filled gameplay also completely justified the use of a 3d-engine. Fallout, being and RPG, is a quite different type of game with a lot more to it than just action. However, I do see kumquatq3's point in mentioning GTA. offtopic: Odin...

    Todd Howard Q&A on Gamespot

I'd say it would be incredibly ignorant by Bethsoft not to make usage of the enormous resource that the Fallout fans manifest. After seeing FOBoS so horribly and shamefully slaughtered by the fans, they will not make that same mistake. It's just not possible.
