I'd support Ceasars Legion except [Insert answer here]

Caesar isn't going to blindly accept every part of the NCR ideology. He states that he is going to combine the two not overwrite everything he has done. He has done nothing that would make me assume he won't accept the good ideas the NCR. Yes, he does not take cultural influence from nomadic...

Actions speak louder than words. He does give even lowly recruits firearms, he does go out of his way to get artillery fixed, and he acquires laser weapons form the van graffs. So why shouldn't we believe he is only saying it for morale. He can lie, and evidently he was.

If Shady Sands surrenders without fighting the Legion will not kill all the males and as we have discussed we have no idea how females, who are raised in Legion proper or are part of tribes that willingly surrenders, are treated. He may have gone on a rant about technology, but he certainly...

What would make Fallout 4 a really good game??

I really want Fallout 4 to have the Legion in it. I don't care if everybody else is left out, but the NCR does make a great enemy for the Legion. So I could tolerate them staying as long as the NCR doesn't get all the development time like in F:NV. Location wise I really do like the desert...

So that's why when I walked through the Legion camp they call me profligate. The Legion armor makes you neutral. I didn't know that.

How did your ranger wannabee get the proper armor? Don't you have to kill one to get it. It is the same with Centurion armor. I wanted it but only two people in game had it and one was incomplete and in a cell I couldn't get to. The other was son Marcus and I couldn't bring myself to kill him.

You know I honestly did not think the Legion was all that bad to their women when I started out here, but now after reading that excellent wiki article in its entirety I suppose it is true. I still stand that their ways are superior for uniting the wastes than the NCR's, and eventually they may...

I backed it up with logic which I believe is reasonable to do, but you however like all the details upfront. I can understand that as well and to answer the topic, I support the Legion based on theses conclusions I came with using logic. With question to canon if their hasn't been a list...

I do not think conjecture is void when we aren't given any contradicting evidence in the game. We know that slaves give birth to the children and we know officers have wives. We also know that no faction in the game or society in real life rapes their women or beat them on such a massive scale...

You also repeat your arguments, sigh........ I have to explain the citizen part first to respond to the first section, so.... The Legion does not arbitrarily pick some slaves they capture to indoctrinate their children aka the priestesses, for the slaves they capture would know nothing of...

All the women you see in The Fort are slaves. Yes the outside world is surprised when a woman who isn't a part of the Legion helps them. These same people know nothing of how the Legion works inside of their borders. The only "baby factories" are their slaves not the women who are a part...

The priestesses I speak of are the females in the Legion that where born or raised there. So yes the men's attitude is different towards the women that are part of the Legion as opposed to the slaves in the camp that are looked down upon. Probably, becuase of the stories they hear from people...

Agreed, most people here seem to think that sexism means hatred towards women. That is not what the Legion is about. Yes gender roles are sexist, but I was trying to tell people that the sexism is directed at both genders. Your opinions on what is disgusting are meaningless. Cannibalism is...

Yes hilarious I am an apologist for a video game faction. I've never heard that one before. What proof do you have of the "institutionalized gender discrimination inherent in the Legion"? I say the Legion is not sexist because they do worse things to the men in the Legion. Yah, sure they take...

The Priestesses that raise the children are not from captured tribes they are children raised in the Legion thus they are citizens. They are the ones I keep referring to when I say they have easy jobs. The paragraph you mention is not sourced, but yes they do use captured woman as breeding...

Yes women get no choice on what they want to be, but neither do the men. That is gender roles not sexism. I also highly doubt they hit their own female citizens like they would a slave, and you have no basis for that conjecture.

The legion has roles for both genders that they are expected to follow. I fail to see how that equates to sexism. Non enslaved men might have more authority because in their society (just like in actual Roman society) all positions of power are run by people in the military aka the men...

Am I the only one here who doesn't think the legion is sexist towards women? Think about it, when they capture a tribe the men are usually all killed through crucifixion, while the woman are either raped or taken as slaves. Those both suck, but that hardly makes the Legion sexist. Then if you...
