    If I have higher sequence then why did critter get the first turn initially? Is there some notion of suprise? I don't get the first turn because I didn't notice it was there (even though I did?)

    Okay so critter sees me and attacks. Then I get a turn. Then critter misses his next turn, and I get another turn! Sequence doesn't seem to explain that, but perhaps its a bug related to sequence.

    Something that I have been puzzled about for a long time .... Why is it that so often, when you encounter a creature, it will do one combat turn, then skip the next turn, allowing the player two turns in a row? Is this some kind of engine bug, or this is some feature that I'm unaware of?

    This happened to me once in the unmodified game. This happens to me quite a lot in the unmodified game. Those caravan scripts are definitely bugged.

    Yeah, I always thought there should be more primitive makeshift weapons made from wasteland junk, and less conventional weapons. There should be lots of steel around, but weapons should probably not be forged.

    Wooz that looks great. I am wondering, is that watercolor painting, and are you scanning the images? I used to do tons of artwork but have not done any in years. Do you work with all traditional tools, or do you also use digital tablets and software? I am drooling over the Cintiq 21UX.

    If you look at this map you see three areas that were planned but did not make into FO2: Primitive Tribe, Abbey, and EPA. I suppose EPA had something to do with this in the fictional future.

    We (myself and corpse) were doing that but I have forgotten what was tested and what was not. It probably should be done again. One thing though, once an item is placed on a map, its proto settings stay the same even if the actual proto changes (they are stored with the map). So checking weapons...

    Okay I really wasn't planning to even touch FO2XP anymore, but there seems to be too many nasty bugs. So I will do some bug fixing, and make one more release, and from then on in, you're on your own. Maybe someone else would like to develop it further.

    What way do you find best to create a mod?

    If you want to create new content ... one easy way to get started is open up the arroyo maps in the mapper and delete the existing stuff but leave the exit grids intact. Then you can place new tiles, walls, criitters, etc and you have several maps that are already connected. I'm sure the big mod...
