Limited time Vault Dweller's Survival Guide for Gamestop

So it comes down to, from Gamestop, you can either preorder and pick it up at teh store and get a poster and 'sound track' OR you can preorder online and have them ship it to get the guide. I opted for the music myself... Preorder swag is a huge business. If you bought the CE of Age of...

    Fallout 3: Tools of Survival

Saddened by the fact he had the nuke launcher within 6 hours of gameplay. I'd be really interested in how many rounds he had for it in that time as well... ,,,waiting for the mod that makes only 5 nuke rounds total and they are really hard to get...

Yeah it'd be the easy thing to do. There isn't much of an excuse not to do that.

Anandtech forum user purportedly has Fallout 3, answers Qs

Expecting video is a bit much. I personally have no idea how to do the whole video thing and having to download/install/fiddle with just to satisfy 'you all' would be more than I'd care to do in his position. Yes the burden of proof is on him, but if he doesn't care to go out of his way to prove...

    Play.tm/Weekly Blend interview Pete Hines

Offline mode is a lie, it still access the internet before proceeding. Or at least it tries. But you can kill your LAN connection and it will work properly, it just takes longer as it tries to connect and eventually fails and then opens the game.

Guess you are more blessed than me. I've had a number of occasions where I wanted to play HL2 again and went to DL it...3 hours later it finished...Bioshock a couple months ago took several hours...not saying that it happens every time but it happens enough that it is not my preferred mode of...

    Play.tm/Weekly Blend interview Pete Hines

I still think that for under $1000 a console will beat a PC hands down for performace and quality of graphics on the newest titles. And I'm talking about the entire PC for under $1000, including OS, mouse/keyboard, monitor, case power supply, CPU, MB, RAM, vid card, HDD, opticle drive...I just...

Well then you have to argue on if the TV was for gaming or was there from the start. For instance I have a HDTV, but no console...All I was saying is that $450 of PC is not comparable to $450 of console when it comes to current gaming.

    Play.tm/Weekly Blend interview Pete Hines

As a PC person I'd have to disagree to a point. Sure a $450 PC can play the games, but will not likely look or perform as good as a modern console.

    Play.tm/Weekly Blend interview Pete Hines

I agree that the PC distribution stuff used to be much better, but it still doesn't say that "I'd rather have nothing tangible." Now-a-days games mostly come in DVD case and stack nicely on the shelf, and 'some' games come with a good book. But I still like getting the map and the other pseudo...

I'm a fan of the hard copy as well. I like "owning" my stuff. I prefer to have the CD of music rather than simply downloading. Sure I could burn my MP3s to CD but you know what more and more of my burned music, 10 years later, is getting lost because the burned CDs are fading and becoming...

8 reasons Fallout 3 will blow you away

I'm looking forward to this game but I hate this sort of person, from either side of the fence. Using a bunch of factoids and a shit load a fluffyness to back it up does not a good article make. It's like a conspiracy theorist haveing a really good sound theory and 'proof' and then adding in all...

    PlayStation Universe interviews Pete Hines

Sure I'll give you that, I guess it's best to say that I don't get immersed. I tend to appreciate a game for what it has to offer and what it's trying to do, I never really used immersion in those criteria. So then it comes down to each person to decide how immersive any one aspect of a game...
