That was awesome! I played paintball (I know its not ASG) recently and I loved it. It was mainly forested area though. I'd love to play in an urban area, and uh, fallout scenarios? Great stuff.

I know other people than betheseda are working on it, but the best solution is not to have any hopes for a decent game. Atleast you wont be disappointed when you play it ;)

About the camera thing: Its 2009. Its not a problem to code in iso, FPP(well, that actually requires additional modelling if you want to be done properly), TPP, freeroam. This would be the perfect solution. You walk around in TPP, if you feel like, or get engaged in combat, you switch to iso...

Ima repeat what some of you said: I don't care! I havnt even finished fallout 3. Before the release I said that I might enjoy the game because I like FPS. Well, Fallout 3 and the DLC shit isnt funny at all, not as an rpg, not as an FPS. Its just plain boring.

Oh, btw: they wanted to film a sequel but due to poor box office performance they might not film a sequel.

I watched the movie yesterday. While it felt a bit like a movie for kids it had some great moments. Some things imho are very falloutish. There are 4 books in the series, one prequel and two sequels to the city of ember. Anyone read them? Any good?

I didnt finish the game. Uninstalled it after the fight @ gnr building with bos. Got extremely bored. I really thought it'd be more fun...

Deadspace? Big disappointment imho. Im not going to point out the mouse movement or horrible camera but the game itself is like fallout 3. Kinda good idea, bad execution. On the mods, Im not going to install any of them, and geiger counter module in pipboy is not a bad idea.

The game price - the 10% pre-order off + Taxes = Bigger price than in a retail store. Keep that in mind ;)

Thats one of the advantages that indie games and mods have. Most of them dont give a shit about ratings and they can put in it whatever they want.

HL@ does have dynamic object shadows altough it doesnt have dynamic lighting. I think you meant dynamic shadows like in Doom III, well then hl2 does not have such shadows.

Saying that gamespot will do one is a pretty safe bet. They always do that with good... uhm... popular games.

Cut the bullshit, I cant stand it. No, its not an early version of the game, the part you played was probably 99% finished and those general bugs like sucky third person camera wont be changed with the final game version. We hear it all the time and those bugs always make it to final version of...
