Ok, here is the answer for your question... I got this problem some time ago, and this is because the main CAB file in the CD 1 is corrupted... try record the CD 1 againwith another program to see... First Time I recorded with nero... Second Time I used Clone cd and it worked!

I think if you throw a flare in an enemy, and when you go shoot, the dark penality is erased and you get a normal shot, I don´t know if i´m crazy or what, because one time I was with 42% of chance to hit, than just for fun i throwed a flare on my enemy, then when i try to shoot again, i see 52%...

Well, here is the problem. I changed my HD for a better with 4,0 gb (my last was 3,0 gb and have many bad clusters). After this change, I can´t play, any game, and this includes Fallout!! I´m getting crazy!! When the pc try to process something with sound the game slow down and nothing works...

Try change their distances, like stay close and etc... they usually move when i do this... i never get this problem in Fallout 1!

The same problem was occuring with a friend here in brazil... he was using a Copy of fallout 2, not the original... when he buyed the original, the game works fine...
