Swedish PC Gamer reviews Fallout 3

That's what I meant, the decorating part of it. Having a shelter to stash my items is fine by me, actually I quite like it. The robot butler doesn't even bother me. The making-a-theme for my house bothers me. Of course, I'll still end up choosing a theme for my house in the end...

Swedish PC Gamer reviews Fallout 3

Not the house, the wallpaper bit is out of place. I like the idea of earning a shelter, but adding wallpaper themes is silly.

    MTV Multiplayer previews Fallout 3

Not really, I never got told off because of my differing opinion ;) After a while you realise the stereotypes ain't so true after all.

GamesRadar - The Infinite Potential of Fallout 3

By gameplay I meant the isometric and turn based combat. I loved that in the games. ISO/TB is not better than TPP/RT, they're just different. I would have preferred FO3 to be ISO/TB, not because it's better, but because I expect a game series to continue using the core gameplay mechanics...

GamesRadar - The Infinite Potential of Fallout 3

Not really, no. I think I can call myself a fan. I love Fallout, I loved almost everything in fallout, and I spent a huge amount of time playing the games.

Well actually, he can believe that it's a Fallout game. What made Fallout, 'Fallout', for you might be different than what made 'Fallout' for him. Gameplay and atmosphere made fallout for me, and FO3 changes this a lot. Not that it's bad, but it's different. I have hope for the atmosphere...

GamesRadar - The Infinite Potential of Fallout 3

True, but having a strength of 1 is a different thing. Consider a player with a strength of 3+, this is reasonable. IIRC with a strength of 3+ you could wield anything in FO2, though your accuracy would be really bad at lower strength. Not quite sure, but I seem to remember wielding a minigun...

From the list I only agree with the change they did with Strength. Everyone should lift a weapon, but if you're not strong enough your accuracy will be very poor, since you can't wield the weapon correctly.

GameSpot Video Interview: Fallout 3's endgame

Just like any other company in the world basically.

There are shops who don't even sell any games which have got an AO rating. Such as the local shops over here. Yes having an AO rating is a big issue.

Since Fallout uses the same engine like Oblivion's, tweaking the CS for Oblivion to work with Fallout is not improbable. But I'm also sure about one thing, a CS will be released. I've got no fact to back this up, but if I can count on Beth for one thing, it's releasing a CS.

Better yet having children victims in the Saw series. Yeah... Anyway, having killable children will only add more to the game, making sure you protect them in battle.

On a positive note killable children will be modded in 5 minutes after game release.

Ah I see what you mean. I thought killing someone who gave you a quest could result in the quest having to be completed differently. I thought we all liked the fact that a quest can be completed in more than one way, so if you kill someone, you can sometimes still be able to finish the quest...

GamesRadar - The Infinite Potential of Fallout 3

Regarding Oblivion, agreed on everything, I was very disappointed. I still *hope* that TES V will be different, too many a times have I written insanely huge posts tackling Oblivion and what went wrong, and what could be fixed. At least one of those times I got a reply from a dev. Anyway...

Back up quest NPCs and No break limits, what are those? And what's wrong with taking down super mutants with pistols? And the "so far bad main quest"? Wtf is that about? We don't know anything about the main quest, except to find our father. It will *obviously* change, the objective I mean...

Crispy Gamer's 4 Hours with Fallout Pt. 2

Yes I prefer the latter option, having to track my actions myself. Even though it tells me when I got +ve or -ve karma, we don't know by how much, so losing/gaining karma won't be an indicator if we're now evil or good (say we get one huge amount of negative karma, and then a series of small...

As a TES Fan, I have to disagree. Daggerfall was better than Arena IMO too, but Morrowind was just wonderful. The exploration, getting lost while trying to find your way to an NPC/enemy/cave, and the whole other aspects about the game. I just loved Morrowind, can't say it's 'dumbed down', not at...

FPP and TB are different, none are better, they're just different. IIRC FPP was around before TB, rendering the "TB is old" argument null.

The Civ games don't appeal to me, but I never knew they used the same engine.
