    Fallout 3: Operation Anchorage Unveiled

Translation: We were worried since not quite everybody was praising the graphics of Fallout 3, and we concluded it was because we toned down the bloom, but now we'll fix that. Expect the most awesome graphics ever with so much bloom that will literally make you go blind. Know what's even...

What exactly is the point of slavery in Fallout 3?

Here's also a tip: Learn to argue. "You can't say it's bad if you can't do better" as well as "If I ignore it the game is great" are not arguments among the sentient beings. So, prove you are one.

    4GB of RAM

Hmm... looking at the price difference it doesn't looks like I can afford it, but I'll look more. Either way, I don't really need that great of graphics card, since new games interest me none. I'd rather have a powerful CPU. Eh, a bit difficult given my currency and conversions and shit...

    4GB of RAM

OK, let me rephrase then. In order to be able to use 4GB, I have to use a 64bit OS, which I don't otherwise need. So, is it worth the trouble (if there are any troubles like incompatibilities with old software etc.) or I should settle for 3GB and a 32bit OS? Is the performance greatly...

    4GB of RAM

Is it worth getting 4GB of RAM considering I have to switch to a 64bit OS (XP or Vista are my choices)? I understand they're useful for graphics software, which I need, but do they have an impact on games too? Also how does a 64bit Windows deals with older software/games and which should I...

99 Awesome screenshots from the Wasteland

Yeah, great looking... almost as good as Quake 3.

    Fallout 3 reviews round-up #36

Dude, you should write the advertisements on the back of the box. All your posts sound like advertisements not like someone actually expressing his feelings. Must be too much TV, eh?

Problems with FO3 summed up with old quote

Seek and you shall find. Here: Daggerfall credits Oblivion credits Just a quick glance will show that only Todd Howard worked on both and in Daggerfall he was doing.. ahem... additional design. Which usually means he was just around serving coffee.

Problems with FO3 summed up with old quote

Bethesda isn't what it used to be. Most of the people who worked on Daggerfall aren't there anymore, and I think many who worked on Morrowind are gone too. That said, I never liked their games before either. Really, there was nothing special about them, but the decline in quality is easy to...

Problems with FO3 summed up with old quote

TES certainly not, but Bethesda is. SERIOUSLY?

Fallout 3. Is it really so bad?

No, you! Yeah, no complains the music sucks because I can change it. Certainly Brahmins with party hats are very dark. etc. etc. blah blah... lots of already discussed to death crap. kthxbye

Something to think about. A few words about Fallout 3 .

Seriously? Can't be bothered to search for Fallout 3 screenshots (teh ugly), but last time I checked birthday cakes aren't supposed to glow. Because each and every review claims this is a great looking game with some actually saying it's better looking than everything that came out this...

Something to think about. A few words about Fallout 3 .

Ahahahahaha.... ahahaha I assume you've seen the retina-burning bloom in Oblivion and (to a lesser degree, though) in Fallout 3? Technically it uses the Gamebryo engine, which technically isn't Morrowind's or Oblivion's engine, but the engine that was used and not created by Bethesda.

    Planescape: Torment

More like they ripped off creating a game with 90% combat and a bland, mediocre story with no consequence for your actions. ZING! Actually, what they ripped off are the poor attempts at philosophical writing, character interactions and many other small things among which the planar sphere...

    Planescape: Torment

Torment is not made by BioWare. They are and were unable to create such a game despite trying it with Baldur's Gate 2 which copied many of Torment's ideas.

Imagination - The cornerstone of Fallout's Universe.

Isn't that nice. For you people everything is opinion, there are no facts. Must be great to live in your imaginary world where everything is possible if you think it is.

    Fallout 3 reviews round-up #11

Hey man, nothing personal with you. I just see too many misinformed people here who suddenly decide Bethesda did a better job based on that misinformation and it pisses me off.

What did Bethesda actually do better than Black Isle?

Even knives? I don't think so. Note: I don't know if there are throwing knives in Fallout 3. Also, throwing grenades doesn't really require a perfect aim because of the blast, while throwing let's say rocks does. Although, if all Fallout 3 has is mines as traps and grenades for throwing I...

What did Bethesda actually do better than Black Isle?

There was no breaking down. They were two skills from the start. As I said, combining them is the worst of the two possibilities, the other one being to give them actual uses. I'm aware they didn't have much use in the original games, but many and interesting uses could have been made for...

Stumbled across a painfully simple infinite XP bug

Spoken like a true connoisseur... well, not really. Because if you were you'd also know the tools used by developers have also been vastly simplified and they're incredibly easy to use. It's funny to see people on forums parroting interviews with lazy developers. Back then besides the...
