Fallout 3 in May Issue of PC Zone UK

Well, I'm certainly no expert in video games, but I don't see why you believe Fallout will be all those negative things. I have developed a fetish for the Fallouts of the past, as so many of you have, yet I am open to experiencing Fallout in a different way. I doubt I will ever enjoy it as much...

Fallout 3 in May Issue of PC Zone UK

I'm with you on that. I already know it's not going to be fully turn based or isometric, but I'm cool with that. I can either choose to bitch, complain and cry about something that cannot be changed, I can say eff it and forget about Fallout, or I can choose to believe there are a lot of things...

    Fallout Yurop updated

I think each Fallout mod team should make their art and code open source. We would all benefit from this. If they were trying to make money off these mods, then I could understand their reluctance to make the work open source, but surely we can all agree that an open fallout development...

    Suggestions for FO3

All very good ideas Lord 342. Setting traps would be pretty decent, and coming back to see a raider or a deathclaw blown to bits. I love it.

    Suggestions for FO3

Good idea. When in random encounters, the critters that attack you would be more likely to attack the brahmin pulling the cart. If they injure them, then you'd have to use your medic skill. Or, if you're travelling through an irradiated area, the brahmin could randomly get sick, forcing you to...

    More Fo3/VB goodies

Fuck yeah. Me and the guys usually pop in some Madden NFL after band practice and have some drunken good times. Nothing wrong with the xbox in my book.

I read on here that it was apparently being released in a little over a year from now. This being the case, thats probably the specs your going to need.

    More Fo3/VB goodies

That's actually a screenshot from The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion; it's not Fallout 3 or in any way Fallout related. I posted it to demonstrate what to expect from Fallout 3 -- Graphics wise. No kidding, eh. I just got myself new computer three weeks ago (2.1 GHz, 512 MB RAM, 128 MB Video Card)...

    More Fo3/VB goodies

Very true. I actually don't care much for graphics. I'd be quite happy if they made Fallout 3 using the original engine/art. Which is almost a decade old now, I think. I'm much more concerned with the story, NPC's, dialogue and the overall feel. Then comes combat and then graphics.

    More Fo3/VB goodies

Why is sneak separate from "Use Skill". Hrm The screenshot above is from The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. Fallout 3 will more than likely be using this very same engine. So, we can expect great graphics from Bethesda's Fallout 3, but can we expect good gameplay? That's the question.

Will some of the original sounds be used?

Good to hear! Lets hope they use some of them -- Like the click sounds. Must have click sounds!

    Suggestions for FO3

I forgot to add that I like your suggestion on the train breaking down. It could make for a very interesting quest. I just think the area 51 bit would be tres corny. Maybe it could breat down next to a ghost town, and your character must figure out why the town no longer has people in it. It...
