    Arkansas... wtf is Arkansas?

I almost feel as though he should have been available as a follower...imagine having sniper cover from a mile away. Sweet.

    Dog armor

My dog doesn't need armor. When I found him, I put him in my house and he hasn't moved since.

What exactly is the point of slavery in Fallout 3?

I don't believe my posts meet any of those criteria, so you may be mistaken. [Note to moderators: This post is just as relevant to the subject as the one it is responding to.]

Which Character in 'Watchmen' Are You?

Doc Manhattan. Not surprised. Watchmen is excellent. Can't wait for the movie.

    Arkansas... wtf is Arkansas?

Arkansas is eminently enslavable. Or killable. Or ignorable. Mostly, though, he's just an annoying fart who likes to blow up cars while you're right next to them.

What exactly is the point of slavery in Fallout 3?

Rudely dismissing the opinions of others is a regular practice on this forum...pretend you post in a largely civil environment all that you like, but as an administrator you should be quite aware of what happens when anyone posts a pro-Fallout 3 statement here. The intolerance is palpable...

What exactly is the point of slavery in Fallout 3?

Well, I said my bit. My point being, if you gentlemen want to allow this issue to further dampen your enjoyment of Fallout 3, then be my guest. My guess is that most of you don't need another reason to begin with. As for me, I'm going to keep playing. There are still a few character...

The Obligatory "What are you listening to" Thread

I'm currently playing "Assimilate" by Skinny Puppy in my head. I'm at work, you see.

Boy, 8, fatally shoots self with Uzi at gun show

Excellent. If more children were given the opportunity to fire weaponry at gunshows, we'd have less of them and the world would be a significantly better place.

What exactly is the point of slavery in Fallout 3?

I suppose I didn't communicate my thoughts on Brahmin as well as I should have. It is not the mutated bovine that was unbelievable to me, but the fact that they all mutated identically in an environment with varying levels of radioactivity. Now, this is not an issue to me, personally. I happen...

Vault-Tec experiments dumbest plot line ever

Well said. Even in humanity's darkest hour, there will always be those opportunists seeking to reap the rewards. What is life without curiosity, after all?

    Impressions thread for negative impressions

With all due respect, this is a fallacy. You can in fact be damaged while shooting in VATS. The only unfair advantage VATS provides (and it is unfair) are instant headshots.

    Impressions thread for positive impressions

Hopefully I have more to say in the long run than the 5 posts I've accumulated thus far.

What exactly is the point of slavery in Fallout 3?

What we have here, my friend, is a marked inability to suspend disbelief. Why is it that you are incredulous in regards to the Wasteland economy, but not to the fact that every bovine born after the bombs fell developed the exact same mutation, which manifests itself in the exact same way...

    Impressions thread for positive impressions

I greatly enjoyed playing Fallout 3, though I see no reason to back up this statement with any sort of logical argument. The problem, as I see it, is that some people appreciate this game based on the same factors that are widely loathed by the old fanbase. OP: You shouldn't have bothered...

Your Favorite Non-Player Character (is there any?) /spoilers

I'd have to say Pinkerton. I can't help but compare him to Dr. House. Awesome, nihilistic bastard.

So, uh, did anyone like it?

You're crazy for bothering to post a thread like this on NMA, perhaps, but not for enjoying the game. I thought it was excellent, personally.

Fallout 3, Bioshock: Videogames or not?

With all due respect, it seems to me as though you do mean it as a derogatory term. Games are games. I expended far more mental energy wrapping my mind around the complex world of Bioshock than I ever would in some ham-fisted Nazi killer, finger-twitching and analog-jiggling aside.
