Putting an NMA bar in Wasteland 2 (goal reached!)

I dont think so, I think a 'No Mutants Allowed' Bar would fit the Wasteland world perfectly. Just my opinion of course.

    GameZone Wasteland 2 Interview

Call me crazy but I think the reason I went to the effort was for a bit of role play. I like the idea of having a 'base' or 'HQ' sat somewhere to return to for some R&R after a difficult battle or quest - especially so in Fallout 2.

    GameZone Wasteland 2 Interview

Wouldn't mind seeing hotel rooms make a return IF they made them more useful. I always used to take over the 'Friendly Lending Company' in Fallout 1 using it as a HQ and having tycho and Ian stand guard whenever I wasn't using them. In Fallout 2 I used the redding sheriffs office as a...

    GameZone Wasteland 2 Interview

I cant see that working but thats just my opinion. Remember the graphics were limited with W1 because of the technology available at the time. I'd sooner see a isometric view point if im honest, it would allow for alot more detailed world.

Wasteland 2 $2500 Kickstarter reward tier changed

    Wasteland 2 Kickstarter Update #2

I agree to the extent of having an old school manual (such as the old Fallout Manual) where its written in such a way that it ISNT strictly a game manual and more of a survival guide of government text. But adding a book for the sake of adding a book in order to appease gamers of the 1980's...

    Wasteland 2 Kickstarter Update #2

To be fair I agree... What's wrong with making an RPG similar to FO1+2 within the wasteland story? Nothing in my mind - it isnt a 'Fallout by another name' its a wasteland sequel in the style of a 90's RPG. Or more accurately a 90's INTERPLAY RPG... Which I thought is what we were going...

    Wasteland 2 Kickstarter Update #2

I think people are missing two very critical points here... This is about making an RPG from the golden era of gaming, 90's RPG's SUCH AS Fallout, Baulders Gate ect - No-one is asking for a 'Fallout 3/4 by another name BUT people are snubbing ideas that are GREAT for the sake of snubbing ideas...

    Wasteland 2 Kickstarter Update #2

Reading over the Official Wasteland Forums and there seems to be a hard core element of frankly idiots who want to see a carbon copy of the original wasteland from 1988 and dont want to see ANY implementation of 90's RPG Magic - Fallout seems to be a dirty word on there in some quarters. I...

Tim Cain GDC 2012 Fallout Post-mortem Live

Very awkward, Dunblane was a bloody tragedy. But the interview was geared towards Americans who for the most part dont really care what happens outside their own borders.
