Personally it makes me more interested in playing a game I'm interested in if I do know the flaws. I mean,if I don't know about them and play the game I might get frustrated and angry,if I know about them I'll just think "Oh,there it is" and thereby it won't be frustrating,only an obstacle...

I do agree that gold is a generally pretty useless mineral,it does have its use within electrics,for contact surfaces,since it doesn't corrode like copper does.(a very small use for it,yes,but not completely useless)
