exploding cds happen, i should know as a cd exploded in my dvd-rom drive and its still fucked up as i can't afford a new one yet (im only defending the cd-rom alibi, nothing else before you flame the hell out of me)

hes alredy played FO1 and he just sees it as a point and click adventure with crap TB rpg elements. ive tried to get him to see hes completly wrong about F: POS but i have had no luck, i think its permanently corrupted him. but what should i expect from a console fanboy?

well, i have a friend that is sceptical about playing FO1/2 because he is a console gamer that has played F: POS which in my opinion has corrupted him because hes too used to ps2-quality gfx

i think its a good squad action game but doesn't exactly fit the fallout mould. yes, it has flaws in it but i still think that its not complete shit.

the only qubbles i'd have with FO 1 and 2 are the graphics but fallout shouldn't be expected to have up-to date gfx when they were made several years ago when the graphics may have been good at the time.

why do you think i rarely play it now? im on the verge of quitting right now as the game is full of n00bs and i got sick and tired of being asked n00bish questions like "where can i get hacks?" or "can you edit a closed character?". thats how low D2 has sunk since i started playing online.

well, when i first discovered fallout i was a diablo II addict, i got given 2 old demo discs: one had fallout 1 demo and one had fallout tactics demo. i tried fallout tactics and wanted to get it, then i tried the original fallout demo and wasn't impressed. i tried for ages to get hold of FOT...

where do i get the fuse for the water pump in necropolis? i have most locations except the location below the brotherhood on the list. and where do i find more rope if i have had to drop the rest after looking in vault 15 for the water chip?

just open the cd so you can see all of the files/folders, right click on SETUP.EXE, Select properties, go to the compatability tab, tick the "run this program in compatability mode for:" box and set the operating system to windows 95. then run setup and you can install it properly

it was more true to the fallout games than F: POS
