Well, for what I understand, I think your tutorial ends when your father disapears, and unfortunently you can't choose to wait a few years to go after your father because the overseer ( I think ) belives that you're involved in the disapearing. It's really lame I know :(
I just read on the official forum that quest directions will appear on the compass (oblivion style quests), and it will not be possible to turn that off
is that already officialy confirmed?
I started playing fallout 2 about 3 years ago :D at first I thought the game was a bit confusing, but when I got the hang of it I couldn't stop playing. Then, when I finished it, I bought fallout 1, and I got tacticts in a gaming magazine :D
Yeah, it would hehe :) but still, I prefer to, as in fallout, see him in a "cutscene" than in real time and to be able to attack, and yet when he reached 0 health points he'd just faint
yes, but you can in the end, and when you first see him he'd be way too powerful anyway to be killed. When bethesda talks about immortal characters they really mean it, you can never kill them, as oblivion showed us.
Well here's my opinion over the several points stated on the interview:
Nice, and what happens if I kill the NPC's friendly to child? what will be the appropriate response then? some kind of damage absorving skin that suddenly every child earned due to radiation?
As I said...
Not possible?? hmmm I seem to recall a couple of games where the main quest could be completed and yet there were no immortal characters... ohh yeah, fallout 1 and 2!
Fallout as a survival horror game?? :? so, fallout 3 is an action rpg fps survival horror game? I'm confused..
And no gambling?? No slave raids?? Not even groin shots??
What's this, "Fallout: good old fashioned Walker:Texas Ranger style family fun"?
I just can't understand what...
I was just reading the official fallout 3 forums, and I came across this:
http://www.bethsoft.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=855056
did bethesda really remove groin shots?
edit: by the way, here are the unofficial FAQ about the game...
pfft bethesda is again (just like in oblivion) trying to make a mainstream game and its ruining most of the classic concepts of its precedents , in fact most of people who reply to the reviews say that they haven't even played the first two fallout games.
And.... Deathclaw - a monster...
