    Mutants Rising Closes Shop

You should say "We," not "You guys." You played a big role. I can get you back into the developer's forum now. My second novel should be finished before the end of the year. Thanks for asking.

    Mutants Rising Closes Shop

When I joined the only other active writer at the time quit (A guy named Revolver). Dack, the only remaining writer, and one of the original members was on a hiatus. He would, by the way, eventually return and write up a splendid design doc for what was shaping up to be the last area, and...

    Mutants Rising Closes Shop

Well, personally (at first) I struggled with your idea to make females in the game receptive to various deviant offers. Then out of the blue it hit me. Yes! Your brilliant, yet somewhat macabre idea might work. Was I jealous? Absolutely, but I refused to show it. Perhaps one day the...

    Mutants Rising Closes Shop

The problem with the demo is that when you (the PC) talked to anyone, all dialogue options were available whether you were smart/dumb, male/female. Our scripter burned himself out trying to fix this and was so desperate to do so, he didn't sleep. When the dialogues were still broken afterwards...

Todd on FO3:'Uh... it's currently... full steam ahead.'

rumpl and sunny jim, Roshambo's rage is like a Drill Sergeant trying to get your attention. A polite gentle admonishment isn't likely to get your attention or warn you of the seriousness of his message. It is a very simple and easy to understand request. Research your topic before posting...

    Slightly better NMA

I was like number 35 on post counts before MR left---Now my post count is pathetic. It was traumatic to me in the beginning, but I'm past that now. It's almost as if I trimmed all the fat away and I'm sleeker, younger, fresher... Oh by the way, it appears to be much faster. Very nice.

    Hello NMA community

I'm with Alec on this one. Like the picture and was left wanting to see more of the lady.

New NMA feature: The Age of Decadence interview

Heh, Mikey I commend your strength of character and reserve. Great looking game and idea. I like the alternate history idea.

As I Walk These Broken Roads...

I haven't had time to read your 'new' version yet, but I enjoyed the first. I'll read the new one soon. I think you have something worthwhile with this.

    Afterfall Triad

I am impressed, which is not an uncommon occurence for me whenever they release something concerning this game. Can't wait to try it.

    Ricochet - post apocalyptic short

    I enjoyed it.

    ROUTE66

I think a mod of this size would have to be done in increments, at least to do justice to cities of that size. As to how to handle explaining why. The PC could be part of an expedition that is sent out to explore this route, a scout perhaps. You are given money, some trade goods, probably...

    ROUTE66

That is part of the fun. So much is left wide open. You need some creative freedom. If you guys read some of the MR news posts you might have noticed that I've taken liberties before.

    ROUTE66

I'd be interested in a European or Australian Fallout. It'd be interesting to see what areas people would pick. Then, just for fun we could come up with the back story and some design docs for fun to see what emerges. How different would it be. Definitely no BOS. Remnants of Nato perhaps...

    ROUTE66

Who could resist taking that side road? Where might it lead? Maybe I should adapt a Fallout type story I've been working on to this idea? Hmmm...

    ROUTE66

Sort of a Grapes of Wrath type idea. When there's nothing left, hit the road. I love it.

    Beneath the Mask Unveiled

It's a long road after you write a book just trying to get published. At any number of points it would be easy to just give up. Fortunately, I have what I believe Stephen King terms 'the gotta.' I'm not happy unless I'm writing. The next book (not a sequel) is 140 pages long now and I've...

    Radioactive Dust

Great job, Wooz! I can draw inspiration to write just looking at that picture.

    Beneath the Mask Unveiled

And that is part of your charm. After all, it is a cold, bitter wind that blows across the steppes, and...(maybe I better stop now).

    Beneath the Mask Unveiled

I could answer this with, "It's my first novel and I really struggled trying to decide which one page portion to post," but that is just making an excuse. You may have a point there. I gathered a diverse group of people to read it before it went to press, but it's possible that they were too...
