Sounds a little like Dawn of the Dead, except there are mutants not Zombies... It could be a good idea. It does fix the hole in George Romero's story in that eventually the Zombies would rot if you hid somewhere long enough. He never comes out and says for sure that "When Hell is full the dead...

If this is an alternate dimension of the Fallout world, then you can digress all you want. Maybe the water chip never breaks down but something else happens. Someone in the vault disabled the chip for their own reasons. I love the idea that you are one of the people sent out before the Vault...

There are musicians out there who want to make music for Fallout mods. We have two on Mutants Rising and I think you will be pleased. Just advertise for a musician.

I'm all for new maps, focus on that, if you are asking for opinions. Ask wild_qwerty if you need new critters.

If you are interested, we may be able to trade some Mutants Rising item ideas with you. We've discussed the same type of idea with FMF.
