From time to time I keep reading complains about Fallout 1 and 2's low radiation level and how Fallout 3 did justice to it.
Well, the fact that radiation's almost nonexistent in previous titles was made on purpose. Here's what Tim Cain said about it...
So, by the looks of it Fallout 3's...
Here's that alternate ending
Scott had wanted the Alien to bite off Ripley's head and then make the final log entry in her voice, but the producers vetoed this idea as they believed that the Alien had to die at the end of the film.
But why not enlarge it even more? More is better. Have a Vimax.
It's a shame about their ignorance towards Vault-Tec Labs modding wiki although it seems their wiki existed before or was maintined during Fallout 3's development? Look at the amount of articles in there - 1,013!
Anyway...
I agree with that they should have given a second thought to the Vault experiments idea. I think it evolved from the fact that in Fallout 1 every vault had some sort of failing (for the sake of humor): malfunctioning water system, earthquake in Vault 15 and door failure in Vault 12.
So they...
I don't see the point behind these arguments. So, he invented the queen? I imagine he wasn't inspired by ants then?
Marine dropship and Sulaco spaceship are all part of the "cool" which is a pro-Bethesda approach in case of Fallout - "Enclave are so cool villains! And supermutants too!"
In...
That list of "better" sequels is intriguing but it's really a matter of personal taste since I prefer originals over sequels.
It is easy to be a general after the battle is over. Where was Cameron when Ridley Scott and the crew had to create everything in the first place?
Changing (replacing?) the ending for whatever reason is just plain stupid. I presume someone will pop up to save you and in return you'll have to play on their rules for a while.
Yes, they made an effort but what bothers me is that Fallout 3's replayability is non-fulfilling except for maybe Megaton/Tenpenny Tower which is surprisingly good with all that twists. Everything else feels like a simple content filler.
Well one thing's true, you can't have an invasion...
Check this out http://www.bethsoft.com/eng/games/games_roguewarrior.html
Funny how they're improving only combat and not other RPG aspects of the game. Fallout as a RPG is on its way to extinction
Funny, I never managed to find out what was VBs plot except for the fact that you're a prisoner in the start and then you launch some nukes in the end.
I know that well enough, but his request seemed childish to me.
Eg. Look his skin color is different, let's change the plot!
Anyway, I doubt any black Fallout gamers would like to be treated differently.
