    Starting out in EVE online

no, i got ratted ice mining in low sec! Also, it wasn't even a tech2, I just remember cherishing the day when I could ice mine. I generally do combat oriented things and manufacturing. Deciding if I want to invest in battleships, I currently fly some Caldari battlecruiser, though I did love...

Gah, last night I reupped for a month, after a 2+ year break. I've followed up a fair amount, but I forgot i lost my mining barge right before I quit :(. Anyways, who needs an ammo supplier?

GOG having a sell on D&D games!

I'm probably going to get this minus Dragonshard and Demon Stone. it will only save a dollar but those games look pretty cruddy. Am I missing out?

What to play after you've played everything?

In that case you better only play Fallout 3 and don't touch that shitstorm Fallout

General Gaming Megathread: What are you playing?

Planetside 2 mainly, I appreciate that the big outfit (guild) I'm in has good commanders and the people that want to play are actually interested in team work. Anyone else play?

Though they haven't really made any good games for a long time.

Torment: Tides of Numenera Screenshot, FO3 DLC sale

If you like Fallout 3 and can tolerate the combat Broken Steel is worth it. The writing sucks but the Enclave military base is pretty huge if I remember correctly, lots of sneaking, sniping, or all out battling if you want.

Small question regarding the old 10mm pistol

ha, I never noticed that. I always assumed based on the grip that it is magazine fed.

Phantom Pain AND Ground Zeroes are Metal Gear Solid 5

That makes sense, where did you see that? I got mine from the article above "The Phantom Pain part of the story is to be a kind of prologue, with the Ground Zeroes part coming later in the game, with more open world elements."

Phantom Pain AND Ground Zeroes are Metal Gear Solid 5

Yup, it might be that MSF is destroyed and Snake is injured in the attack, leading to the first part Phantom Pain. In the hospital we also see Volgin in the flaming hallway, but I figure it might be some hallucination, like that giant sandworm looking thing.

Phantom Pain AND Ground Zeroes are Metal Gear Solid 5

Phantom Pain will be something of a prologue, with Ground Zeroes coming into play later. I figure something like Plant and Tanker Chapter in MGS2 Link with video <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/G8qugKFaVLE" frameborder="0"></iframe>

What is your most impressed weapon?

P90c - Fallout 2. Absolutely devastating at point blank range with burst fire. Mk22 Tranquilizer gun, MGS3. The obvious choice for No Kills No Alerts: Precision Rifle, Red Faction. I love large magazine semi automatic Sniper Rifles.

    Shamus Young talks Fallout 3

I'm actually talking about the game mechanics of economy in FO 1/2, not the plausability of the locations.

    Faction joined in NV?

My current playthrough is fun, I'm basically considering myself a follower of the apocalypse "member". I've played both the NCR and Legion against eachother, and gotten very far in the game without having either faction hostile. I've completed nearly every faction sidequest and just alternate...

    Shamus Young talks Fallout 3

For what it's worth, Fallout and Fallout 2 didn't really have much of an economy, and they absolutely had this problem "... a small number of useful perks in a sea of useless ones." But he never really denied that, and everything else is pretty spot on.

How Fallout: New Vegas got Mormonism right

His interest probably stems from visiting Zion National Park, which gave him the idea to have it set here. Most of the geographical features in Zion are named by Mormon settlers. P.S. Visit Zion National Park.

    inXile funding Torment

I have a few things I've kickstarted. 99 Shades of Grey (I'm in the book), a fake marathon thing (I have a tshirt and bib number). The biggest being FTL: Faster Than Light. It was already in development, but raised a ton of money and is pretty much the only roguelike I can tolerate playing, it's...

Did anyone beat Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance?

It is a lot less serious than fans think it is, it's basically a superhero series. But the nuclear nonproliferation message is totally sincere, but I assume a lot of fans might not notice that as well. I'd also agree that Kojima is a huge troll, Raiden being the main character in MGS2 was...

Did anyone beat Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance?

I think Ground Zeroes will be Metal Gear Solid 5, Snake's story ended with MGS4 but remember that MGS3 was a prequel to Metal Gear universe. It's fair to consider Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops and Peace Walker as mini sequels to MGS3 and Zeroes to be the first full sequel. I assume they'll...
