It means that parts of the quest are very likely skippable. The two claims aren't inconsistent. I can do a 2 hour run of RE4, but my first time it took 15 hours. That's with no skippable parts, and a whole lot of combat. Most of the time in their speedruns is likely traveling time, unskippable...

Yeah, this is mostly what I'm saying. This might not be the best choice for how to make a Fallout game, but there are good reasons that they did it, and that it looks good regardless (that last bit is my opinion).

No big deal, especially as it's an odd spelling. Atlus does ludicrously low print runs, minimizing their losses. I didn't say that the only option was AAA or indie, but I feel that for a company that usually cranks out a single AAA title every few years, that doing it in a different way...

Do you mean Atlus? Or is there another company I don't know? I'm not making fun of spelling, I want to know if this is something I know about before I respond.

They listened about level scaling, didn't they? They got more voice actors, I believe, and there are fewer NPCs with more interesting things to say. I think it's unfair to say that they don't listen. Personally, I like the quest compass, but then I played Final Fantasy XI, and just can not be...

They already have the engine, don't they? Development costs are there for more things than just that. You really think that indie games make the same profit as AAA games? Especially for a developer like Bethesda? You might think they're failing horribly, but to say that they're not trying? I...

That's true, and at the same time, it's not really reasonable to make someone control multiple characters real time. Put out meaning published. So, Squeenix. It's so strikingly similar that the ways in which it is different are negligible. The setting is completely in line with Final Fantasy 2...

GamesRadar - The Infinite Potential of Fallout 3

Dude, it's a main series game. It's called Final Fantasy 12 and put out by the same people who put out all the rest of 'em. The spinoffs have all been labeled as such. Really, Final Fantasy doesn't work for the "sequels shouldn't change the gameplay" idea because each iteration makes major...

They're a continuing source of revenue. Why sell the game once when you can sell it every month to the same people?
