Well I did load up a previous save and I think my character got corrupted during those unarmed battles. For some reason I had Hip Kick (and I only have 5 str without my adv power armor on). It worked fine this time, though the battles were noticeably more difficult with only snap kick.

killap patch "application error" crash in San Fran I have a game saved in the 4th-or-so unarmed battle which leads up to the melee with Dragon in San Francisco (the opponent is Jobe). Every time I click to end my turn, displaying the "You Win!" text as usual, I get an Application Error...
