Lonesome Road coming September 20th + weapon pack DLCs

Agreed. For all the bugs and delays we've received over the last year, we should be getting this shit for free. And here I thought Lonesome Road would include a Bozar...goddammit. Is that a re-skin of Autumn's coat as well?

    OWB, What to Expect?

Adding to this: If you prefer heavy or medium armor, you may run into repair issues. Light armor users will have no trouble whatsoever, so long as they have Jury Rigging.

What would be your last words?

[Wild Wasteland] There's always room for jello!

    OWB, What to Expect?

Nope...stims require 70 Science. As for Energy Weapons, it's probably the best option in OWB since ammo is abundant and the Sonic Emitter is one of the best ways to dispatch roboscorpions, which imo, are the toughest enemies.

    OWB, What to Expect?

Difficult to find, but crazy easy to craft. After a normal OWB play through, I usually have about 300 empty syringes thanks to Muggy.

    Lonesome Road speculation

Keep in mind Ulysses isn't the only NPC in Lonesome Road. For all we know, he's working against their interests. As for Ulysses' plan, remember that Mobius states he wants to know "what can create or destroy a nation". War seems like the most obvious answer to this question, but Ulysses...

    Lonesome Road speculation

Anything but spore carriers, please - they've been overused. More than likely we'll get reskinned Mojave critters like HH and OWB.

    OWB, What to Expect?

Couple hints: If you are a Guns user, be sure to stock up on ammo, specifically AP. While it's possible to find certain types of Guns ammo in OWB (mostly .357 and .44), there's not a huge variety and the one merchant you encounter takes forever and a day to restock. Stocking up on Mojave...

Little things you would add to New Vegas

If my Courier decides to side with Elijah at the end of Dead Money, I want to explore a Mojave that's completely devoid of life.

    Lonesome Road speculation

So according to the Bergman interview, completing Lonesome Road will change the Mojave in some way. As I stated previously, I'm thinking it'll be an ending slide, although anything is possible. Perhaps it'll be a form of weather manipulation?

To me, Honest Hearts really wasn't that good...

Went through my third (and probably final) Honest Hearts play through yesterday and I'm inclined to agree with Surf Solar. On my first run, I did a bit of exploring, but mainly focused on the main quest. The second run was spent exploring every nook and cranny of Zion. This time, however, I...

    Who Should've Been a Companion?

How would it be difficult? Boone and Cass have ending slides that aren't exactly noble.

Little things you would add to New Vegas

After Yes Man's "more assertive" speech, the Courier is instantly taken to the Lucky 38's penthouse. Staring at the monolithic screen in awe, the Courier hears some chilling words: "Hello, America! This is the voice of your president, John Henry--"

    Who Should've Been a Companion?

If you could choose any vanilla NV NPC to be a companion, who would it be? How would s/he be acquired and what bonuses/penalties would s/he carry? Here's my list: Vulpes Inculta There needs to be a Legion companion and Vulpes is arguably one of the most recognizable members. After...

Little things you would add to New Vegas

Totally agree with Westside and Northside. Northside especially could've used a merchant or two, since Jules mentions traders often stop through the area. I'd love to spearhead a mod that enhances both areas, but sadly my GECK skills ain't too great.

Little things you would add to New Vegas

In no particular order, I would add or modify the following: Lack of Dynamic Events This is the big one. While NV does have a few situations that change based on the player's actions (Legion taking over Helios One), many of these reactions are just for show. I would've liked to see...

Here's hoping we'll get an end game option like with Elijah in Dead Money.

    Tips for Hardcore Mode

Adding to this: Healing Poultices are a great alternative to Hydra because their ingredients appear more frequently. Poultices restore less LMB damage than Hydra, but also offer a fair amount of healing. Also, crafting Hydra requires Survival, not Science.

    Paid too handsomely?

If you're on the PC, check out the Bartertown mod. By default it will greatly increase the cost of items across the Mojave.

    Lonesome Road speculation

Writing specific bits of dialogue and re-hiring VAs are just two issues with allowing "core" companions to tag along. Also, DM, HH and OWB already have companions. On the topic at hand, would anyone else love to see an Elijah style alternate ending with Ulysses?
