I have 2 gb ram, Nvidia Gforce 9600GT and AthlonXP 3200+, and it runs normally on medium settings (with some stuttering from time to time, I don't know what affects this, probably another issue like that one with dx3d.dll).

Well, it's a default settings many sane people change once they install W7. W7 has some pretty weird "default" decisions.

I really like how this game follows the Fallout-2 style of playing. I mean really, in F2 you could make a "hook" on a map, following towns and levelling up, and going further through the stroryline... Or you could cut a corner and go to the finish straight ahead. Here there're deathclaws...

Actually it's an "old" rpg style to give "phat lewt" as you said, which was a carry-over from an even older "arcade" genre where you expect to see some reward in the end of a level. The later games though were more "realistic" on that part.

Yeah, Fallout New Vegas is much less gamey. Vaults are not magical dungeons with an artifact at the end. Enjoy the immersive world ^_^.

Eh, lazers actually kick ass, and standard armor protection doesn't work against them. At first I was afraid I am going to be hunting for a few cells though, but the doubts went away when I saw random raiders with lazer pistols and TONS of ammo. By the way, now NPC have real amount of ammo...

Yeah, overcharge and max charge are NOT the same as AP and hollow point. Also tagging skills is no that important now. You just get +15 to skill, and that's all. They went with Morrowind/Oblivion system this time. It's just a matter of one level.

Stats didn't matter? Eh, a guy with 60 hp or a guy with 400 hp are the same? I don't think so. You one-shot the first one and pump lead into the second one for a good minute. There's a level scaling for quests I believe, but non-quest monsters have preset level values.

I agree that with the addition of ironsights I stopped using VATS, but I don't need ANY gun level now because ironsights are damn straight... Also I use "bullet time" mod, it still uses AP and doesn't make me invulnerable or shoot faster than Flash.

Eh, I am from Russia, and it was from Amerika... It was literally everywhere. Now when I look back at my sentence, maybe not everyone is as "old" as I am hehe. Haha, so I'm not the only one who thought about that. Probably it's their "npc generator engine", I don't think they did it...

I've encountered a centaur named Moe, south of Black Mountain. Does anybody know what is he about? P.S. I've googled around and found Eric Moe, who has an album named "On the Tip of My Tongue", centaur records CRC2290. Could it be that?
