The guns makes sense, if you accept that less restrictive clothing would boost agility (and thus boost guns) the +2 to guns is from clothes that are slightly more restrictive, but not as restrictive as say a suit. The labcoat and the luck bonus on the naughty nightwear make less sense though.

I don't know why people are complaining about the lack of a house. You get plenty of permanent hotel rooms, which fits the Vegas theme better. Though I would like the ability to add mods to them. Novac is the only one with easy access to workbenches and reloading stations.

The AK that most people are familiar with wasn't designed till 56, only a year before the M-16, the AK-47 name just stuck to it. Ans the M-16 is hardly only a Vietnam era weapon, its still the mainstay of US forces. I wouldn't be terribly shocked if its still in service come 77.
