    Does Bethesda listen to feedback?

Actually, THEY picked a perk. If they let the crowd pick a perk they would have had the decision be spread out over a few months (I hate to use the comparison) "American Idol" style with the fans voting on and eliminating perks til they were left with one choice that the fans actually made.

New Defonten art: Brand New Reno

Looks amazing. As far as there being "too much stuff", I don't get it. There is supposed to be a slew of garbage laying around. It is post-apocalyptic after all. Very good stuff.

Fallout 3 anniversary contest winners announced

I can't believe Nucler Man was actually considered, it sounded like a direct joke and slap in the face to Bethesda for all their mini nuke explosions implemented. And they considered it!!!!!!!! Money talks did sound like a very good perk idea.

"My precious" - GFW on fans, industry and media

 Bethesda seems like the highschool clique "we're so cool" equivalent of a gaming company. Complete with the undeserved sense of accomplishment in all the wrong hyped up areas. I had to quote you again in my sig Welsh. :salute:

Emil Pagiarulo on quest structures & NPCs in Fallout 3

That's what I'm talking about. playing the PC version against the console version. I've played Halo on console and it wasn't as bad as other console FPS games I've played, but the PC version would be far superior to me. As for quest structures and NPCs in F3 (getting back on topic) I still...

    Hellgate: London preview

Wait a minute, that's a pay to play game? edit: just watched the video. Seems okay, but it isn't my cup of tea. Still seems like some of the best from Blizzard went and formed ArenaNet. But I prefer RPG's over FPS.

Emil Pagiarulo on quest structures & NPCs in Fallout 3

Yeah, take your gimped controller. I would love to pick up a game that is both Windows and XBox Live enabled to frag the shit out of console kiddies with surgical precision. Like fighting against insurgents "trying to find reverse on a soviet tank." The only console shooter I enjoyed was...

    Hellgate: London preview

The gun does not only lack polys, the texture is atrocious. Why would they skimp on the guns that are in your face and polish everything else?

    Fallout's 10th anniversary: Jason D. Anderson interview

He likes Tool and helped make Fallout. Double plus. Great read all the way.

    Todd answers 25 questions

The moment I heard Bethesda had bought the rights and were using the Oblivion engine to power their take on Fallout, my hopes plummeted. They have not been picked up since. This however, does not mean my interest is disintigrated. I find discussion on Fallout 3 to be very interesting.

PC Gamer UK on NMA and AoD

We have gotten an appetizer for the storyline. Which can be compared to stale fries from McDonalds. "Welcome to Disney Land's Vault, your father is missing, now go find him!" Dialogue may be trying to reach that bar that the previous Fallout titles set, but ultimately I fear it will knock...

    Game Reactor interviews Emil Pagiarulo

I would quietly remove that little turd of a weapon and never ever mention it again if I was working for Bethesda.

PC Gamer UK on NMA and AoD

I'm not sure if anyone is exactly saying the game is "going to suck". It will be better than Oblivion most likely. However, when you take a title as immersive, impacting, and well crafted (despite the technical bugs) as Fallout, you better damn well keep your hands off the elements that made...

    Bethesda responds to NMA's preview

So instead of doing the job he went there to do, and write the preview, he became jealous of your meticulous article and instead decided to bash down BN, SuASide, and NMA in general? How does that make him a professional journalist? Why oh why can't mankind evolve beyond 8th grade maturity...

PC Gaming: Why I'll Never Console Myself with Second Best

Don't forget DV editing and compositing. It's becoming increasingly popular for younger generations to get their hands on DV cameras and want to edit their own movies. This requires a decent computer. And if you have a decent computer, why not use it for video games as well? I'm about done...

    ActionTrip interviews Gavin Carter

Blasting away the torso into chunks was also a favorite of mine. The blood geysers weren't high on my list but it added to the flavor of the occasion.
