Well, I've found locale_o.bos and have replaced my corrupt version of that file with the uncorrupt version. Now when I try to load the game, I no longer get the error, and instead get nothing at all. The game doesn't even load! I have a feeling that I will need to purchase a new copy regardless.

It kept prematurely shutting down installation whenever I used the discs, it got to 99% then shut down without prompting me for my first disc again. Its weird because I never had this problem the first time I installed the game, the day it hit the shelves.
