well the logic of bethesda fails again... wouldnt they have integrated into the society more during those 200 years? (either by friendly negotiations with other groups or possibly even settling in one of the villages, or at least be a well known force... nobody sneaks around for 200 years...

oooooh but think of all the little kids what would run crying to their mommy if they died everytime someone used the über-cool minigun on them... they would have to make it rare, and then the little kiddies couldnt run around going "look at me i roxor your soxor!" :roll:

i think the main problem (and this applies to most games nowadays) is that the games are for the "console generation". yes, i know that alot of people are older but still have the same view as the so called console generation. they buy a game to have fun for about a month (or even less)...

as far as i can tell it works like the invisibility spell in oblivion ("its not oblivion with guns"... yeah right! its fallout with spells!)

the fact that i can sleep in a bed in a house thats on fire seems kinda lazy to me (lazy as in the fact that the thought that you might not want to do that didnt cross their minds when putting the bed in there)

actually... the stuff exploding in the distance that you hear all the time is actually the eyebots that keep getting killed (and self-exploding at death) by animals

well... i did say how i did it (in somewhat detail) in the comments later... too lazy to update the actual description... besides... i dont care if people download it since i just made it for myself and then released it to help people in my situation... EDIT: usually when i do release mods...

actually, i kinda like the lasers... they look very 50's to me... havent seen the plasma yet...

ok, so i know we all have our complaints about FO3, but most of us still play it like the little fallout lapdogs we are... so what kind of wierd happenings have you had in the wastes? my best one so far is something that happened to me about 2 hours ago... i was fallowing a group of 3...

1: fallout 2 weapons balance mod: simple really, just re-balancing the damgage of the fallout 3 weapons to fit in with the damage of fallout2 (ie. the damage range, not the actual values) 2: fallout 2 weapon sounds mod: this is even more simple... just using the sounds from fallout 2 for...

hmm... now THAT id like to hear...

what i mean is that all the good weapons would have been swooped up by all the strong factions like raiders and such... so the only ones that use these guns are the wastelanders and the likes... basically anyone who doesnt really WANT a gun but HAS to have one... so they dont use loads of money...

hmm... strange... oh well... it works for me and i just thought id share...

i think this really needs to be done once the CS comes out... however, i think they should be somewhat limited to poor wastelanders and yourself (workbench) since anyone would pick a half-dead 10mm pistol over that junk...

well... i did :oops: but only cos it said "activate toilet" and i thought it would flush it... imagine my scream when it said (and animated) i drank from it... NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

i completely concur... more info... that should go in all "more fallout please" kind of threads... in fact, spam them to get the message through...
