I want to see what happens when you try and shoot a child in the game. How do they make NPC invincible? There is nothing that gets you immersed in an rpg like killing a mutant with a teddy bear while watching laser blasts have no effect on a toddler :/

To the point about pacific approach: I thought the same way. I know that there were hostile NPC in FALLOUT1/2, but for the most part, NPC didn't automaticlly attack unless you "said" or "did" something to piss them off. I am worried that in FALLOUT3 you are going to just have to kill everyone...

I liked how the death animations in Fallout 1 & 2 where pre-rendered. Real-time rag-doll deaths are fine for first person shooters, but I just think about how many different awesome pre-rendered death animations we could have had if FALLOUT 3 had been turn based. And why is everything so...

Why is the Bloddy Mess perk being so featured anyway?...IMOHO, It is pretty useless...I tend to like perks that do more than show eye candy.

When the woman asked Todd about whether or not people would be able to fallow the fallout story........Am I the only person that felt sad when Todd Howard said, and I quote "we assume that players have not played the original fallout games"

Personaly, I liked the surgical method of stat raising from Fallout2. It makes raising stats seem like much more of an "earned reward" and also carried the theme of human experimentation and "science" ...rather than just finding a "magic bobblehead"

Re: Being a neutral character Being good or bad was included in my statement about provoking people to attack you. But in the footage wasn't in raiders and other humans attacking?...If I remember correctly, FALLOUT 1 and 2 gave you a chance to talk to nearly anyone before you attacked...

Re: Being a neutral character The gameplay footage was in a city. You must not have played the original games because random encounters occured in the wasteland. I cant ever remember walking into a city in FALLOUT 1 or 2 where weveryone started automatically trying to kill you.

Being a neutral character In the gameplay footage it looked like everyone was automatically wanting to kill the player. In the original Fallout nobody really attacked you unless you did something or said something to provoke them. I hope that you are not expected to have to go through FALLOUT3...
