Interesting Observations on the Fallout Tactics World Map

I definitely agree. The demo even had a little bit of Chicago- the 'Devil's Graveyard', a sort of throwback to the Angel's Boneyard. The intro is a bit deceptive. It's a pity we can't visit Chicago in-game. I'll bet Black Isle's Fallout 4 would have expanded upon what Tactics laid out.

    Bethesda's Lore Recons

I think Vault 15 was for the people of Hopeville and other neighboring communities. I like to think that Vault 8 was nearby Carson City, one of my favorite towns, but unfortunately it's two hours away. Nevertheless, that's all very true. Bethesda just completely ruined the concept...

    [Warning: Very Long] An NMAdmission

Speaking of which, check out what the nice folks at Reddit have been saying about the forum: https://www.reddit.com/r/Fallout/comments/38us5y/no_mutants_allowed_is_the_most_depressing_forum/

Interesting Observations on the Fallout Tactics World Map

Denver can be seen on the map. Interestingly, Van Buren, being developed simultaneously, also included Denver as a location (Dog City). Three huge craters can be seen in southern Minnesota. I checked, and the area roughly corresponds with the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. Maybe the Chinese just...

    [Warning: Very Long] An NMAdmission

While we're at these NMAdmissions, I've got a confession to make: my first game was New Vegas.

    Let's talk about Albert Cole

I always play as Albert, every time. In fact, I named some of my other protagonists 'Albert' just for the heck of it. I've always thought that it's pretty obvious that Albert is the canonical vault dweller. I love the idea that he started out as a peaceful negotiater, but the wasteland changed...

    Function of Pipboys in-universe

I've always assumed that the broken button on the Pip-Boy 2000 was a radio function. So, it was used for note-taking, communication and health monitoring.

What BoS division do you speculate is in Boston?

    That would be horrible.

The Enclave - Condemned to repeat it

It doesn't matter what your opinion on the Enclave is: what matters is that Fallout 2 fleshed them out and really made a fascinating faction, while Fallout 3 failed at creating anything remotely interesting. Bethesda are terrible, terrible storytellers. Additionally, they are not 'the...

NMA's Skype Nighr Fallout discussion ideas.

I'll be happy to do it if it's just communicating by text or written word...I don't really have a good microphone.

If the FEV virus didn't exist?

Well, we might have seen something akin to the Desert Rangers taking their place; just US military survivors rather than the elaborate backstory of the Brotherhood.

    Post-war England

As a side note, I'm going to take this opportunity to list the status of the various nations of Europe and how that may correlate and hint at the status of the UK. The European Civil War seems to be heavily inspired by World War I, with trench warfare and shelling everywhere. War weary citizens...

I don't understand complaints about Beth's take on pre-war society

Actually, as a future businessman, that does make sense.

I don't understand complaints about Beth's take on pre-war society

Both. That's why everything post-I Remember You is non canon in my fan fiction universe.

I don't understand complaints about Beth's take on pre-war society

Not at all, Season 5 saw some serious decline and Season 6 was just a total disappointment...such a shame.

I don't understand complaints about Beth's take on pre-war society

Exactly. It ruined Adventure Time, it ruined Doctor Who and it ruined Fallout. When will they learn?

    Post-Great War Africa

I actually made a forum about the post-war status of Antarctica previously. Indeed, it is an interesting topic to explore- lesser developed continents and their place in the Fallout world. I'm assuming a few of the African nations were members of NATO, allies of the USA and European...

Was Germany Still Divided by the Time of the Great War?

I think that Option 2 would be the most interesting. Plus, it works well in supporting the Cold War type situation continuing well into the 21st century. Makes me start to wonder if the European Commonwealth and the Soviets ever got into a dispute or conflict.

Republic of China (Taiwan) in Fallout Universe

When I say 'in place of', I meant that they kind of took their spot for headquarters in MacDill Air Force Base. There's no actual historical connection between the two organizations. They were kind of the pre-war Enclave.
