Things we learned from Fallout 3

I can assure you this is not true from personal experience. I'd rather play a badly written game any day than ever touch H again.

Can't blame me for not looking, I never read his terminal entries, nothing interesting there I haven't seen already other than "open overseer's tunnel".

How excited are you for Fallout 4?

That's exactly what some of these people are asking for... I'm all for a working vehicle as long as the map is big enough to support it and it's done logically and used to get from point A to point B. What I'm not for is barreling through the D.C. ruins, jumping piles of rubble in my car, and...

How excited are you for Fallout 4?

The more I read other forums, the less excited I'm getting. There's so many people out there asking Beth to make FO:4 as somesort of GTA meets Mad Max meets Call Of Faggotry type thing, and we all know Beth listens to those types of morons and not sensible people.

http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/4887#content I can't recruit her during "Escape!" It gives the options for "come with me" then speech check (i consoled my speech to 100) then she says something about 'I still don't know" then the only option in the box is "you're right, stay...

What I want to see implimented.

Maybe the people of the Fallout universe weren't as just utterly fucking stupid as most Americans under the age of 40 in the modern world. People today, I walk in a store and ask an employee where I can find a shopping cart and they're like "uh what's that?" AND THEY'RE LEANING ON ONE! Jeez look...

On a side note: "1999: Scientists at Emory University declare the Peep "indestructible" after a series of joke experiments. The researchers tested everything from submerging the sugary candies in boiling water and sulfuric acid, freezing them using liquid nitrogen, and microwaving them. "...

What I want to see implimented.

The only way food could survive 200 years and still be edible that I can see is if it were somehow synthetic, which I think is what Sub-Human is going on. It might not be that much of a stretch for them to press a bunch of powdered chemicals, preservatives, vitamin powders, and flavorings into a...

Is there a source that confirms that?

I'm talkin' something more random from cooked or raw food. Eating even in today's society is playing bacterial rush and roulette. Maybe they could do it where a food randomly inflicts a stat penalty and gives you the foggy head effect like having a crippled head does, I dunno, thinking out loud.

What I want to see implimented.

This is something I've always wanted to explore in Fallout. Like say if you sleep with someone there's the possibility of contracting a STD. Or if you use chems like Med-X you run a risk of hepatitis or other blood borne disease from a dirty needle. How about some food poisoning from them...

    NCR Railroad System

#6.) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Las_Vegas_Railway_Express this is a service set to open next year, it mentions needing rights to travel over BNSF trackage. The BNSF line goes from L.A. to Fullerton, over the Cajon Pass, and in to Barstow where it splits. Eastbound traffic follows I-40...

If there's mutated crabs (mirelurks), I don't see why there couldn't be the possibility of a big kraken or something out in the ocean.

    Lets be fair...

The only way I can see surviving is if it wasn't a direct hit, more of a graze. We're talking the items standardly found in a civilian first aid kit, not modern real world medical science where it's still 50/50 chance after taking a direct hit to the forehead. Mitchell coming from a vault (did...

The bomber should not even be there, it should be completely rusted away, 45 whenever it was, it was still in the 1940's sometime. Funny how as long as the game doesn't end with a 3 it gets defended.

    Lets be fair...

Since there's a similar topic up in the FO:3 forum, how about we level the playing field with the logical inconsistencies of FO:NV. 1.) A point blank head wound is only a 50/50 survival shot with modern medicine, yet you survive with some Med-X, tweezers, and old gauze in a shack. 2.) A...

How did James get in to Vault 101?

And we did find out they're not above using a Mr. Handy if their doc flees and his trainee is killed.
