Gamespot's Fallout: New Vegas Demo at E3

2 things: The guy in the preview talked about how excited he was to work with Chris Avellone because of how much he enjoyed Planescape: Torment. So I figure he gets a little bit of street cred because of that. Also, it doesn't bother me as much as when they identified Josh Sawyer as a...

Gamespot's Fallout: New Vegas Demo at E3

Water was the defining purpose of the first game.

That is... so, so wrong.

Chris Taylor on FOOL beta test

They probably had a deadline to launch a website, would be my guess. Also, doesn't bode well for the game when the server can't handle processing the sign up form.

    Fallout Online Website Launched

Those supermutants look eh. Way too uniform and each of them is the same. Lazy day in the art studio I think. :P

Fallhope Van Buren PC asset conversion

This one is my favourite: He's like some sort of super absorbant sponge.

    Question about sniper mod idea.

This already happens on occasion; a kill made while sneaking that only takes one round doesn't always set the remaining NPCs hostile. I don't think it works as well as it was supposed to, though, since it seems terribly inconsistent about when it does or does not count as a sneak attack.

Fallout: New Vegas E3 publicity, schedules

He clearly spent all his money making that amazing mascot outfit. Money well spent, IMO.

    Fallout: New Vegas E3 Trailer

Those look like mountain lions. The big fuck off ram thing scares me more. :o

Crazy religious fundamentalists boycott everything. Legitimacy of complaints is hardly relevant.

01:07: Dude on a cross. Get ready for the boycotts.

    Inside the Vault: Scott Lawlor

My favourite sound is the thud of a body hitting the ground after the ribcage explosion critical hit. It's something that the new game is missing; for all the visceral flying chunks launching everywhere, the soft, wet thud of a body hitting the ground is noticably absent.

Fallout: New Vegas Fan Interview Part 1

I laughed. And then I realized I game on a PC and you don't. Then I laughed again. :D

Fallout: New Vegas Fan Interview Part 1

Not my intention to feed the troll, so I'll take what you said at face value as your legitimate opinion. Taking them from the list ( http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_3_perks ) and scanning them reveals how blatantly wrong this is. I'll spoiler the list as it's quite long, but...

Feargus Urquhart Fallout: New Vegas dev diary

I find it amusing to think that he's a quality assurance tester, and they hired him purely to play through games in the most evil manner possible, offering both bug testing and suggestions as to how realistic their most heinous quests are. It's hard for me to recognize Todd Howard without a...

Fallout: New Vegas Fan Interview Part 1

I will shed buckets of tears for them. Basically, the perk levelling ultimately means nothing if the perks suck. If they continue to be bland and nothing but stat boosts, then they might as well have them every 2, 3, or 4 levels.

Fallout: New Vegas Fan Interview Part 1

I actually don't have a problem with getting a perk every level as long as it's something that adds definition to the character as opposed to just more skill points. If it's something that fleshes out who your player character is at a person, why wait an arbitrary amount of levels to enact that...

Feargus Urquhart Fallout: New Vegas dev diary

If we're really discussing the weird looking people in that photo, who is the dude at the top left? Guy voted most likely to go postal if the studio ever closes I think.

    XBox360 Achievements interviews J.E. Sawyer

By the way, that website has a temp mockup of the New Vegas cover, since I guess they aren't aware the real one is out. ...does that not look so much better? It's far more subtle and clean than the obligatory "HERE'S A BIG DUDE AND HE LOOKS REALLY ANGRY" videogame cover they decided to...

    XBox360 Achievements interviews J.E. Sawyer

This is a weee bit unfair. I'm sure if Obsidian were in charge of Fallout 3 they would never have removed those things in the first place, so it's not like they took something out, then put it back in again just for shits and giggles. They're adding a feature they think is important to proper...
