Liam Neeson's Role Gets Homeland Recognition

eh, no, but the Bethsoft forums have a strict policy of not allowing links to copyrighted material, scans included. I remember seeing a thread being culled (deleted) in which there was a scan of an article about Oblivion, I think. I f the poster at Beth's forum just had mentioned that Liam...

Liam Neeson's Role Gets Homeland Recognition

As for Liam's fee, I think voice actors are paid by lines :?: that is how many lines or words they have :?: And why shouldn't voice actors be paid OK :?: Normal actors are paid fairly well for their apperance in a 2½ hour movie, why shouldn't a voice actor that appears in a game with as many...

    Jagged Alliance 3 preview

uhm :what: eh -- Turnbases, you say :?: Impossible. It isn't next-gen, my good man. Now move along. Nothing to see here! Except maybe the sequel to a very great game which obviusly takes pride in looking a lot like Jagged Alliance 2. Great work and good luck to these Russian guys :)...

Does anyone have any info on the progress of Baldurs Gate 3?

THere is a BG3 project going on - sort of. It is not named BG3, I believe?,but I do know that Josh Sawyer is working on a project called 'black hound' which is a mod of sorts for NWN2. I think Josh originally did the design docs for the original BG3 project? also called Black Hound internally at...

So, a month later, where did those scans go?

As I've understood this whole thing or commotion over the GI scans, the other sites that had them up where very or somewhat positive to the changes in the Fallout universe, the story etc. and all that stuff. NMA and D&C were not - that positive. Immediately I and other posters here said our...

    Fallout 3 press release

  :o :D Yes, this press release was indeed very funny. But should be taken with not 1 spoonfull of salt but a whole ton of salt. Press releases are typically issued to create hype. And I think it was a pretty smart thing to do, pretending that the Vault-TEC(R) did make...

New articles on Fallout 3 Blog

Yes, the word communities should remind you of the word communists. Both share a Latin root called 'communitas' meaning common (as in general public). It is the same root we find the 'communion', in the church and stuff. I think a guy in France in the late 18th century organised the first...

Fallout 3 Eastern European localizations announced

Eko Have you tried amazon.co.uk ?? I think you can get the Fallout collection from there (still). I also think that amazon.co.uk ships to all countries within the EU... As for the modified SS-poster, I thought that was little overdone, given Latvia's past history... But Eko, please use...

    Save Auto Assault campaign

It is nice to see the Auto Assualt community rallround their game :) However, I fear that the battle is already lost as NC Soft probably already decided half a year ago or so that we're going to close the auto assault MMORPG down at the end of Augsut 2007, probably since they, NC Soft, didn't...

Anyone know were i can get Wasteland

If you want to buy Wasteland, you should look on ebay or amazon. They sometimes have a copy that can be gotten for a reasonable amount of money. Since Brian Fargo stills holds the license to Wasteland (or got it back from somewhere? a few years back) you really should buy a copy, I think.

Consumer response to the banning of Manhunt 2.

Ok, then... Well, first for the politacl stuff. Socialism is the Labourclass predominance (or power) over ALL major (and minor) classes, inclduing the bourgeousie. In Socialism, the state plays a very helpfull role in shaping the communities of the nation, indoctrinating them basically...

    New poll

    - hmm --- Are you sure you didn't get the extra votes because of the more focus that has been on NMA right now. I meam, irrc, all major previews (I think?) has mentioned NMA, so maybe more people just got curius and decided to vote. And yes, all polls can be 'cheated'. I think it would...

    Fallout 3 Preview Madness

I just meant that the dialoque options seems to dependent on how good a speech skill you have. In one of the previews it mentions that Emil Pagliarulo fails a speech skill check in a conversation with mr. Burke. It also mentions that you can do what mr. Burke ordered, go to the Sheriff...

    Fallout 3 Preview Madness

Please read the gamespy.com as well as the pc.ign.com preview where the dialogue system is well explained. As for the unkillable children in F3, how about being able tp eat the (rotted) corpses of already dead children :?: This begs this question: It is somehow OK to eat corpses (yeeww )...

    Shacknews Fallout 3 Preview

As I understand it being hit in the groin, especially near the main arterie? in the thigh, does a lot of more damage than other hits will do? I don't really much care if groin shots are in or not, though.... I will still base my decision to buy or not to buy on reviews at the codec and...

    KFAN interviews Matt Miller

It wouldn't have been to get Bioware to throw it to Obsidian, now would it ? Chris Avellone is, afterall, working at Obsidian alongide with J.E. Sawyer. I'm pretty confident that Obsidian could have delivered a very Fallouty feel to Fallout 3, and that which Bethesda ob(li)vious seems content...

    Finnish magazine reposts GI screenshots

ehm --- I would say that the laws only apply to NMA because of its critical questioning of the screenshots as well as the content of the article. Other sites have been (more) positive about this whole Fallout 3 business/deal than NMA have. That would be my guess, anyway... It is just...

Consumer response to the banning of Manhunt 2.

I would hardly call the UK a communist society, would you. However, communism and fascism has one thing in common: They both want to control what adults can read, see, or play as in what games adults should play as only games that are supposed to be good for i.e. not Manhunt 2 will be...
