Question about the Gizmo quests in Fallout 1

As posted earlier, experience is different than in most RPGs. Just going out and leveling on creatures in the wastes is feasible, but there are so many better ways to get XP in that game. If you are having trouble with some of the more combat related aspects of the game, and will probably...

    A new Metroid game

Ah, another Metroid game. I remember prime. I thought it was... okay. It wasn't really up my all (not a massive FPS fan by the way). However, I loved Super Metroid. Pretty much my favorite in the entire series. And Team Ninja making it? And I thought I'd seen it all in the world of...

    Chris Avellone Q&A

Meh, still not into F3 even if Chris is. I'd have to agree with a post that was stated earlier: Oblivion was better. Oblivion guys. Oblivion. As for New Reno... from a purely gameplay perspective, I thought it was fun. However, whenever I go to New Reno, I must say I do feel detached from...

Why fallout 3 is different then Fallout 1 and 2

This I will give you. Sure, there will always be bad games. However, it feels like the amount of quality games (as few as they were even back then) were more in numbers. I can name plenty of games from the nineties I enjoyed. I can think of very few this decade that are really that good...

Why fallout 3 is different then Fallout 1 and 2

I personally am not a big fan of Fallout 3. However, F2 is quite possibly my favorite RPG (at least on PC). I absolutely loved it. On topic though, I believe F3 is different than the original two because of a few factors. I'd love to give the "time changes things" route, but even today the...

    Tim Cain invades my pc!

I've always wondered about that. Didn't know it was Tim Cain though. Interesting. Still, I prefer the older icon :)

    Mutants Rising press release

Mutants Rising? Sounds interesting. Always looking for a good Fallout mod.

    Does Fallout...

I see it two different ways. There's the realistic lack of guns and ammo scenario, where the game would be pseudo-resident evil in terms of the amount of ammo received (you would take note of all your shots and whatnot). Then there's the game balancing aspect. While they were making a game...

    Beyond the Fallout

And this is why I feel a littly iffy about F3. My fear about F3 was that Bethesda was just going to take Oblivion and just jam it up into the Fallout franchise. While I don't believe they completely did that with F3, it does feel like it at times. I love Oblivion, but still... I don't know...

Why fallout 3 is different then Fallout 1 and 2

I haven't played (but have watched a playing of) Fallout 3. While I don't think it's the worst game ever, I do wonder about it in it's comparison to the first two. Just as Fallout 1 and 2 had glaring differences (as stated in previous posts), Fallout 3 had these differences in comparison to...

What does sex appeal do exactly?

Sex appeal is an enigma in it self. As stated, it probably had bigger aspirations than what it gives in the game. I think I remember playing a game w/sex appeal as a selected trait. Didn't REALLY affect much (I guess it made it easier to get to other sex perks (sexpert, gigalo, etc.), but not...

Fallout Trilogy still sticking around on NPD top list

I recently bought the Fallout Trilogy (my old F1 and 2 copies were scratched to hell, and I didn't have Tactics). Overall, I'm satisfied. It's good to play the old games again. That, and it's good to finally play Tactics.
