yay chin strap new face nightkins! gameplay looks like fallout 3, which looked like a polished oblivion (which was a polished morrowind), engine is showing its age though. I wonder if bethesda is gonna use id for its engines now, maybe TES5 will be in idtech 5? not really gonna happen...

The skin texture looks better I think, its not as shiny and looks somewhat "softer" (this can be seen in the rocket launcher shot) and not covered in baby oil, I like it.

I want my Fallout 1 and 2 fan service? Any bets on ghoulified F1/2 npc's? Did they ever mention when this takes place in the time line? Also seems like the city is pretty well developed, maybe it serves as a main game hub with excursions out into the wastes for different factions/quests...

I thought Bethesda owns the fallout IP outright, and licenses the MMO only option to interplay? meaning Bethesda is free to make as many single player fallouts as they want? or do you mean Interplay cant make their MMO called "Fallout 4"?

I wonder if they will have the unofficial patches on fallout 1 and 2 like they were with the newly released Fallout Trilogy. if not its fairly easy to mod 3rd party games on steam (assuming the executables aren't messed with) all you do is dl the game, then on the games list right click it...

i really wish quarn would release his next unofficial patch, the bugs they fixed in oblivion are staggering, and I think(hope) he was just waiting for all the dlc to be finished.

eh I think it looks better, it looked a bit drab before in the sea of mass effects, gears of war, and what you we have nowadays. It might age better also this way, my personal opinion is that zelda wind wakers art style still looks great even though its so old now, in fact I think it looks...

Probably my most hyped game this fall, although I fear it will be devoured by Modern War 2, and Left 4 Dead 2 hype. Gearbox made some good half life 1 side games, so I have hope the gun play in this "shooter rpg" is fun, basically its like "Diablo 2 with guns" which seems like a lot better...
