PIPBoy 2000 Audio Player skin for Winamp, version 1.4.0

Well, if it looks like this, it's mine, yeah. Mmm ... Which letters ? The Playlist and Media Library font ? I'm pretty sure I didn't change the font type. Font size is out of my control, but you can set it in your Winamp preferences. (And/or overwrite the type as well.) I brightened the...

PIPBoy 2000 Audio Player skin for Winamp, version 1.4.0

I suppose this falls under Fan-Art, right ? Anyway, I updated my Winamp skin to 2.9x // 5 Classic requirements. Added a video and a general purpose window, fine-tuned some colors and cleaned up a lot of pixels here and there. That's just an image, though. The actual skin is currently...

    Glutton Creeper's contract issues solved

Assured by Interplay. Yup. Who else was doubtful? Raise hands anyone ? On Another Note : Man, Bethesda sure are aggressive. Hrmm... first replacementdocs.com and now this. I'm not liking this. At all. -Gerko, " ... "

Skin Your Fallout, Fallout Your Skin

I'm talking about the version of my Winamp skin. I made a 1.3.0 in august 2002. NMA has 1.2.0. , which dates back to the last hours of 1999. Not much happened in between. (There was a 1.2.1, but that was a readme.txt update only) 1.3 had an extra video window that isn't being used anymore as...

Skin Your Fallout, Fallout Your Skin

Might be a good idea for me to point out you still haven't updated that winamp skin to the latest version. Sure, it only changes a few little things a little bit, so it's not really a biggie. Still. (Hmph.) Who do I contact? Just uploading didn't work last time - got deleted. And that...

Fallout 3 forum polls and reverberations

Briosafreak : um. Optimistic ? I'm not really sure what you mean by that. Haven't really made any predictions about the opinions of the 'sleeping majority', aside from there being (at least some) who'll vouch for Real-Time and whatnot. That said, I haven't been scouring the net looking for...

Fallout 3 forum polls and reverberations

A Minor Sleeping Silent Majority Hmmm .... but what 'silent majority' are we talking about here ? The forum is literally days old, and it's exploding in activity. You just said near 70% of these people come from outside the original forum. What 'silent majority' keeps up with Fallout...

    What shoes do you wear?

Hrmmm ... let's see. Yup, that's it. I desperatly need a new pair, though. These are totally worn out. Had 'em since late ... uh ... 2001. Whoa. -Gerko, but still waterproof.

Most Complex Tactical / Strategy Console Game

Console, right ? not PC ? Hmmm... heard some things about Ogre Battle. Only played a little bit of a SNES version through some illegitimate means. (ahem). Think there's an N64 version as well, and there may be more iterations too. Might want to look into that. -Gerko, doesn't think it's...

    HackerSkills - Internet Riddle

I'm at Level 8, but I'm stuck now... Seems like I need some software which I don't have on this computer right now. Don't feel like installing it either. Maybe I'll check later with another computer. -Gerko, tragically unl33t.

Ratty counts down his favorite games

As a sidenote, you can download it (and GTA2, for that matter), for free. Well, you'll need to register, I think. And they say they're going to be using your information and stuff... but hey, look! Free Games. w00. (ahem) http://www.rockstargames.com/classics/ -Gerko, no, it's not...

    Overheating GX card?

Well, well, well ... Seems like the clean install actually did the trick. No more crashes in at least two games, both of them notoriousl crashers in the old setup. Still don't know what the actual cause was, but I'm happy. Well, I guess my brothers are happy. I'm not going to be around that...

    Overheating GX card?

Whoops. Cross-posted. I just did. Ran a 16M digits calculation, took 24 minutes. Had both SpeedFan and AsusProbe running, temp got up to 61 or 76 degrees centigrade respectively and stayed there until the end of the calculation. Dropped down pretty quickly after that. Hrmmmm ... -Gerko...

    Overheating GX card?

Rumours of the Computer crashing are Treason Running SuperPi for 11 minutes got Temp1 up to around 59°. After which it was done, and it got back down to to 54°. No voltage fluctuations registered. (more than 0.05 anyway) I'll run a longer test later. BIOS ... right. I did look around...

    Overheating GX card?

Commie Mutant Troubleshooters are crashing the Computer! Hrmmm ... I think I've got pretty much the same problem. Well ... it sounds like the same problem. System works fine using "plain" Windows applications, but crashes/reboots alot when playing recent games. Got it (new) around late...

Fallout 1 Children Patch bug ?

I'm experiencing a minor bug using the Fallout1 Children Patch. (on the 1.2 UK version) Kids work, (hurray, finally! after all those years.) but another problem pops up : The "look at" command when used on characters doesn't return anything. Instead of "He looks : Unhurt" // "She looks ...

Van Buren Lives? NOTE: Old April Fools Joke

I'm just kinda glad it's an, err, 'local' joke. I doubt if Bethesda could have been forgiven if they were the ones pulling this prank. -Gerko, "just imagine the horror"

obligatory what are you reading, what have you read-

I know. I was just browsing/lurking. (as I often do) And this thread kind-of appealed to me because I'd just finished said book. I'll try to post more at TO 's well, 'kay ? Oh, and to keep on topic, I'll continue reading The Constant Gardener by John le Carré next. (was at around 1/3 when...

obligatory what are you reading, what have you read-

Hrmm. I have a list of books I've read since ~2002. Kind of outdated, though, and I don't have it with me on this computer. I can tell you though, that today I finished the last book in the Sherlock Holmes series, The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes by (Sir) Arthur Conan Doyle, after going the...

    Todd is on a rampage

Of course they're looking at the option of changing the viewpoint/combat. It's a newly acquired license, with elements they themselves have little to no experience in. Of course they will be looking at different possibilities - they have to, being the devellopers. Whether they'll decide to stick...
