DLC is licensed to the account holder and to the console it was bought on. So if you've changed consoles since buying the DLC you'll have to transfer your license for the DLC to the new console. Otherwise you can only use it while online, if you haven't then you should contact the support team.

FT Tools is installed with the patch, Awaken needs the game to be patched to 1.27 to work. Awaken should also have a shortcut in your program list to run the game. Uninstall and reinstall (make sure there are no programs running in the background) then apply the patch, then install Awaken.

The files are just uncompressed zip archives they can be opened in just about any archiver. The file you want is Mis-Main_0.bos just open it up and extract the file bos.cam and no don't re-archive it afterwards just extract it to core\campaigns.
