    I recommend downloading Killap's patch if you don't already have it. It installs the Hi-Res mod which might fix your issue. Vanilla Fallout 1 & 2 aren't friendly with modern PCs and the Hi-Res mod corrects that.

    I agree with @Norzan on this one. I fell in love instantly with Fallout 1/2's turn based combat. I like F3 and adore NV, but I don't play them because of the FPS mechanics. But they are better in the stealth department than the originals at least.
