    I think that's the point, if the installer could interact with the Program Files directory in such a way, then it wouldn't need the message warning users. Precisely because it's a protected folder makes what you're suggesting quite complicated. Or I'm totally wrong.

    Yep, it was a sfall script, and I like that mentality too. Something very relaxing about being able to play an old game out in the middle of nowhere in the dead of night, far away from a wifi connection.

    Nirran's weapon drop mod for F2 does this, you might want to look at the code. Any critical to the arm causes a dropped weapon, and weapons drop on death as well.
