    This is interesting, jerry-rigging can produce very good results. You're saying that the sprites will be able to use the weapon, but instead of seeing a weapon in his hand he will gesture like so and fake it..? Please, share :)

    Personally; I think along the same lines of keeping the portrait styles; it does fit the Fallout theme. Removing the scan lines would be for any mods that take the FoT engine out of the Fallout universe, or really if it just suites the modders' taste.

    This has been an unseen thorn in my side for ages..! Last I had a working combat system it used crit.% for most every caliber and high damage tables... I'd thought even slight adjustments to the crit.% gave every weapon a insta-critical, and brought the whole thing back to the drawing board. Or...

    Maybe it's just me, but FoT seemed more or less dead on arrival; damn developers botched the cloning process. We all simply attach the corpse to high voltage power lines, and then jump and clap our hands in glee while the body has a few spasms.

    I can't say for certain, haven't spent as much time mapping as other things, but can one not add an obstacle where the image is, if not set the tile with such properties to begin with..?
