I see no reason why it wouldn't. It's not like every bit of pre-war technology and knowhow was erased the instant the bombs fell. There's operational power plants and shit all over the place and multiple groups dedicated to archiving pre-war knowledge.

No. Fallout 4 was the last Bethesda game I'll ever purchase. They're a lazy fucking studio that haven't produced a game I didn't regret buying in over a decade, and there are so many good games being produced nowadays that I see no reason to waste time and money on shit.

The shooting is okay, but that's hardly a ringing endorsement. There are miles better shooters of both the arcade and realistic varieties available. For a game that has so little RPG in it and so much fucking shooting, the shooting should be better than barely passable.

It's hard, but usually fair. Usually. I find that especially early on in the game, you have to be strategic in pretty much every encounter, even with two bit street thugs. Gives you the sense that they're actual credible threats rather than trash mobs who exist purely for you to kill and loot.
