I agree completely. Guns are limited by ammo and granted, ammo wasn't much of a problem in the first two games (unless you were using the bozar or something in the second game) and in any case i don't remember ever running out, so yes they should have fixed this and not add durability to guns...

So, the assasins started shooting armed guards to get to some guy? Did they try to sneak in and got caught? Anyway, what i'm saying is that i'm really afraid of how the A.I is gonna play with this. If I'm sitting inside a heavely fortified camp and some raiders just decide to go charging in...

We're gonna make it to the church on time!

I didn't like it, at all. Maybe I liked a line or two, but in general? nop! First of all: too long. If it was an attempt at dark humour they should have kept it to a page. For example a flyer saying about the church of harold, with vague details, leaving things at your imagination...

    Previews and Ausir interview

Reputations, karma, influence and god knows what else in most cases end up being slightly retarded at best. I would appreciate some form of reputation that i never know about, that it may not apply to every situation etc. I hope they make it good, but i wouldn't hold my breath. So, how would...

    Caravan rules revealed

Personally, i just can't figure out why they had to change blackjack :-P Building your own deck plus the 21-26 range makes it pretty easy imo just like the poker in witcher. Yes, i know that this isn't a gambling game, but if you have to make something better make it good. As for the...

    Metro 2033 ships to retail

On the other hand, every sane person on this earth needs the occasional Quake3 and unreal tournament match! Keeps the adrenaline pumping  Today's shooters... well... they get boring quick. I'll wait for some gameplay vids and some more opinions before deciding on this one! (providing...

Urquhart Inside the Vault, MCA Outside It

Personally i reloaded most of the times especially if my character hadn't invested any points in doctor. There was the odd case where i played combat without paying attention, so i got something crippled and by the time i noticed, the saved game was far behind but there were few. I made a few...

Urquhart Inside the Vault, MCA Outside It

I don't disagree, i was wondering mainly how old is this interview and that it's probably republished again (certain bits of it in any case). Anyway, you could use doctor and first aid as an exp source in fo2, it wasn't much but in the early levels you could kinda abuse it. Also didn't you...

Urquhart Inside the Vault, MCA Outside It

I also remember reading a while ago the answer about the special system in fo1/2 and how he thought doctor was broken. I even remember reading it here on nma.... :?

Project V13 concept art #10: Frozen Shipyard

This. I don't want to move the entire setting to snowy areas. But you can include different areas without breaking the game or making it a fallout survival game! And trust me, i don't want it to get simplified or make it The Sims 3: fallout. But if you include different areas (and do it...

Project V13 concept art #10: Frozen Shipyard

Yeah, I read that part, i know about the science thing in general, just not in great detail.... In any case, no nuclear winter= sun in the sky still going on right? So in remote areas where there would be no soil contamination, isn't it pretty much safe to grow in greenhouses? About the "why...

Project V13 concept art #10: Frozen Shipyard

First of all, i have to say that i don't have a clue about why fo didn't feature nuclear winter or winter in general. Yes shoot me, I'm clueless on this area :-P Secondly, a snowy area could be interesting even without military bases, major cities or whatever. You CAN have a storyline, even...

    Bethesda publishing Rage

Judging on how much effect blizzard had on activision, i wouldn't get my hopes up....

    Bethesda publishing Rage

I would normally agree on beth hate here, but then i remembered that the previous publisher is ea  It's like choosing between jumping off a cliff and jumping of a tower. The result is still pretty much the same!

Afterfall launches new website, still vapourware

Really? I see it just fine, nothing spectacular, but to be honest i like it that way, most of the sites who try shiny things with as much use of flash player as they can, usually are just boring and heavy. Now about the whole vaporware thing... Once I made the mistake of holding on to a...

Project V13 Screenshots and more Concept Art

About "how it can be a mmo in a PA enviroment", well... it really depends on the size of the world in my opinion and if they put a cap on the player limit of each server (instead of trying to squeeze everyone into a server, causing bad performance along with everything else). IF they could do...

Project V13 Screenshots and more Concept Art

I know it's supposed to be huge (talking about the power armor), but isn't the ratio between length of torso and arms/legs a little off? Yes, i know it isn't supposed to fit like a suit and you are somewhere inside and not exactly where the arms are for example, but it still feels somewhat off...

Project V13 concept art #5: Character Sketches

The first three, don't look really post apocalyptic. Unless we are talking about civilian personnel (and thus no need for protection of any sort for combat). The fifth, if that's a Geiger meter on his hand, then his face should be fully covered. The last two, why the masks if they are meant...

Interplay done for, Bethesda sues, Defonten creates

Can't they do that already? In any case, if they win the case and try to shut down the fans, it will be really bad publicity.... Plus they know that you can't really stop fans so i doubt they will try anything!

The Next Level Interviews Bethesdas Emil Pagliarulo

And miss all the free hype or the marketing opportunity? They had something to say all the time, their forums were always busy with discussions etc etc. It kept the game "warm" enough without having to reveal too much information. Reviews mentioned how fallout 3 stayed true to the spirit of...
